It's definitely a poem, she even used her typewriter... I'm kinda dying at the fact these poems are gonna more lyrically interesting than half of NFR. "Happy" is already better than "Hope..."

I kinda wish she'd be more experimental like during the Lizzy Grant / Del Ray eras. I know she has a defined sound as Lana Del Rey but she's established and she can afford to take more risks. I'm hyped for NFR and I'm ready for the laidback hazy acoustic vibes (and surf / rock undertones) she'll serve this time around. But for LDR7 I wouldn't mind some more Trash Magic or Disco vibes. Mermaid Motel and Raise Me Up stand out too.

Hmmm I actually am really enjoying this album... Dumb Blonde shouldn't be on the album though and a couple of tracks could do with some lyrical changes but all in all an alright album. I prefer it in this order 01. Head Above Water 02. I Fell In Love With The Devil 03. Crush 04. Tell Me It's Over 05. Love Me Insane 06. Souvenir 07. Bigger Wow 08. Goddess 09. It Was In Me 10. Birdie 11. Warrior I think she should've released Dumb Blonde later in the year and announced a greatest hits tour with that single as promo (more classic Avril)

I mean Britney is still an artist and songwriter ahah. I think Britney is just stuck, like in terms of sound and identity and due to her personal life, her anxiety etc. it doesn't surprise me that she's comfortable... Why should she keep trying? Lana doesn't have children or other commitments and that's not an excuse for Britney ahaha. But I think Lana always made music for herself and that hasn't changed (minus LFL). Whereas Britney has always been a brand / pop machine and has made music for the GP. They're both successful and will be remembered in their own right.

Since Britney seems to be a theme right now and Lana said during BTD era that she was a fan... Which Britney album do you think Lana likes most?

Hmmm so I've seen that apparently Nicki was added last minute but that doesn't seem right... Was she on the original version, she sings about "I'm the pinkprint" and "no I don't want no frauds (wink wink)" as if it was yet to be released or just released. My guess would be that Nicki was on the track at first, then removed and then brought back for the single mix.

thank u, next is her strongest body of work and it definitely is ying-yang with Sweetener... I really like the cohesion of sound but for me all her album tracklists are messy - I know she used interludes and little audio clips inbetween on the last 2 records but for me the album flows better like... 01. imagine 02. fake smile 03. needy 04. Imagine the meltdowns if Cinnamon isn't actually called Cinnamon and when the tracklist is announced we won't know if it made the cut or not.

I'm so glad she met Jack, in that interview when she said she'd only written a couple of songs when they first met and didn't expect to make an album means the rumours about LFL 2.0 could've been true... Imagine LFL being re-released with Rick producing 4 more songs and then HIAB (the tourlyfe mix) being the lead single. She'll probably use the original as a single cover (that's if she even shot a new one)… There's clearly no promo shoot for this era so I don't think they'll waste the image.

I do honestly expect HIAB as the lead with that video Chuck shot... I'm not expecting big budget music videos (she kinda confirmed it wasn't happening this era in that interview).

It seems likely, I said March 22nd a few posts back... she has a show that day so I imagine new material will be performed. Perhaps they swapped Lana and Billie? Maybe there's more competition in early March and with this being Billie's debut they want it to go #1... They know Lana has had number 1 albums and would seem more of a threat on the charts than a debut. Just a theory. So like Lust For Life, I imagine we'll get another single and preorder a week to 10 days before the release... So either end of this month or start of March depending on the official date.
