Yeah because that was the original release date planned for the album... Like how many times ahah. Lust For Life was supposed to come out in May but then Lana decided to add more songs and collaborations (as confirmed by her team at the time - that the album would be out later). Then they announced July 21st. So, all these articles reporting March 29th isn't a coincidence (and I doubt they'd all use it if was just rumoured)... It's likely that that was the original release date first announced by her team. However obviously Billie is releasing that date so it won't be March 29th. This latest interview does suggest though the album is coming next month... She literally said that she's promoting this one differently and that she just wants to put it out as soon as its finished (which it was last month if not earlier) - I don't think she'll be releasing this in late spring or early summer.

We knew she was doing Gucci last year and I'm sure the commercial etc was shot pretty early last year (if not end of 2017? could be wrong)… so I imagine this interview could've been done December or January and they would've added in extra details like Hope etc.

So since the lead single was released in October, then XCX3 should come in May. Or we might a second single in July with the album in August or September. Or maybe later this year. Otherwise it will definitely be out next year.

So if NFR is coming in March (which could seem likely) it could be March 1st, March 8th, March 15th or March 22nd... I'd kinda be happy if we just got another single along with the preorder this month and then the album early March.

Could be a nice little date to drop the album, it is a Friday and looking at the Lust For Life roll out we got the preorder etc 9 days before the release. Lana and Marina are signed to different labels and record companies. Also Lana releasing the same day as Marina is unlikely to have an affect on either's success, like Lana's singles always flop. Speaking about the Lust For Life rollout... We got Love (February 18th), Lust For Life (April 19th), Coachella (May 15th) and then Summer Bummer and Groupie Love (July 12th) with the album following (July 21st). The Norman Fucking Rockwell rollout so far... Began with Mariners Apartment Complex (September 12th), Venice Bitch (September 18th) and then Hope Is A Dangerous Thing... (January 9th) with the album to follow sometime in spring or early summer. Meaning the wait between Mariners Apartment Complex and today is already longer than the entire Lust For Life promotional campaign (lead single to album release).

Ugh Lana... So she had 2 options: 1. release MAC / VB in September as stand alone singles and announce a new album coming sometime next year. Then begin the album campaign in 2019. 2. release MAC / VB in September as the first singles (6 months prior to the album release), tease several more songs multiple times on Instagram, announce the album title and a Q1 release (but don't confirm an official date), release a 3rd song from the album and confirm the album is finished and just sitting there then refuse to announce anymore information to fans. Of course she picked option 2.

If the album cover is shot then I imagine the booklet etc. will be done and be ready for print... I don't know for sure how long it takes though, I guess it depends on the design, like LFL was quite simple... Maybe if it includes lyrics it takes longer, like fitting the text and checking for spellings etc.

Didn't everybody think that the UV tracklist was fake to? I know she was trolling but I remember songs like Sad Girl, PWYC and FMWUTTT were all deemed fake by fans

I don't think that's necessarily true... Like we got the Honeymoon album cover 3 weeks before release. I imagine 2 weeks for CDs, and then a month to 6 weeks for vinyl and box sets etc. When Beyonce and Jay Z released their surprise album they'd apparently been working on it til the last minute before it dropped. Then the CD was delayed by like 10 days. Lana's box sets tend to always be delayed now, as if they don't go into production until the pre-order... But I imagine if the album was finalised in December or early January then they would be sent to print this month (if the artwork is finished).
