Why do we all think she's gonna change the album? Other than she did it with Lust For Life (1 out of 5 records thus far). If we do get a trap record produced by Rick with In My Feelings 2.0 aimed at Azealia Banks, I'm holding all of you responsible for doubting her and constantly mentioning it. The album obviously wasn't finished in September, but she wanted to drop two finished songs for fans cos she felt it was the right time of year for them. She's teased several songs all sharing the same sonic palette, or at least I ain't heard any trap beats yet? The album is most likely done and she's just having a break for the holidays, maybe finalising her poetry book before the Gucci campaign and album roll out begins. And I think the Machine Gun Kelly was probably for his project or will never see the light of day (like a lot of her songs).

If Lana was gonna remove any song from her back catalogue on streaming services, it would be Cola. I don't agree that it should be removed but if one was going to go by choice it would be that one.

Ugh, Gucci shouldn't be paying her money for the upcoming campaign. They should just give her a new wardrobe each month! I know it's 2018 and she's empowered and we have no right to dictate how a woman dresses etc. But I miss the glamour and eccentric styles of the 2012 era. Even during 2015 - 2016 she was serving looks. Praying this years image is just part of the aesthetic aha.

This! Without her fan base she would just be "the sad girl with the big lips who sang Summertime Sadness (remix)" to the public. She's an album artist and relies on her fanbase for success, she's not a singles artist and therefore the GP don't have much of an effect on her career. Nobody said she owes us an album, we're just excited for new music. Don't get why people complain about fans wanting music from their favourite artists aha, like surely it's better than ignoring them and not caring. Plus we all know she makes the music for herself (bar Lust For Life) therefore all she's doing for us is uploading it onto streaming services and putting a photograph on the front of a CD.

No I agree, I enjoy the song and I really liked the video (obviously there was a budget), the chill yet cool feel went with the song! I just preferred Focus / No Angel aha.

So, I like the single but I feel like I'm ready for the next one aha. This doesn't have as much replay value as Flesh without Blood did... In an ideal world she'll drop the album this month, get the physicals out for January and do a few music videos and then move on to the next album in mid-2019.

Is there a reason it was the only monthly drop to get a music video? I'm just curious. I remember when Focus / No Angel dropped and fans were suggesting ideas for the music video and she was liking and replying to them... Do you have any other info on the monthly drops?

Also if Come To My Party is being released, I think it should be announced as a promo single alongside an album pre-order or something. Still give us the music video, even as an album trailer or something. But with the song already leaking I worry for it's success - at least dropping it as a promo single means if it doesn't take off she can move on with a new single and then if it is a hit she's got the video out there.

Yeah, I'd rather have the album new then the tour. I remember her playing the majority of Sucker live before it's release and it was kinda dead on arrival (especially in the UK when it got delayed til 2015) and she was so over it by the time Doing It was released. If she does tour in the UK next year I'm expecting: Boom Clap, Doing It, Vroom Vroom, After The Afterparty, Boys, 5 In The Morning, No Angel, Girls Night Out and 1999. The rest could honestly be anything... Mixtape tracks, collabs, she's teased wanting to perform True Romance songs, I mean she could even perform Sucker tracks for all we know.

I mean she legit has a PC remix of Doing It done by AG, that she never uses. Get ready for the studio versions of the hits.

So what are the chances 1999 will go top 10? Also do we think XCX3 will only be released if 1999 goes top 10, or is it likely it's coming either way and she's trolling?

What if she just performs Venice Bitch and maybe a new track like at the Apple event. And then we get the next single sometime this month or next alongside the album preorder.

Finally, some hope for this era.

It was just a though, After The Afterparty is a really good song and shares similar themes to other songs that might be on the album. And I thought since 1999 is her biggest hit in 3 years it might be good for her to have other songs on the record that the GP might know - give the album and era some longevity. Plus Boys might be good in terms of streams and charts? Not sure how that works. I do agree that as much new music as possible is the best way to go... But if her album was 13 tracks like previous ones, that leaves 10 new and unheard songs. Haha, I ain't pressed. I just think you misunderstood me? I know most major labels use that tactic, I was just using albums released by Atlantic (bar Zara) to justify my previous comment, since Charli is on that label. Big love either way

The shots of the kitchen look like Charli's actual house... And like last week on insta she was back in her house "having a party" with professional strobe lighting etc. Maybe reshooting some scenes with her short hair or maybe she's changed the lyrics (a bit more 2018), since the production has supposedly changed.

And I mean looking at other releases from Atlantic / Warner or any label, Bebe had I Got You (2016) on Expectations (2018), Dua Lipa had Be The One (2015) on Dua Lipa (2017), Zara had Lush Life (2015) on So Good (2017) and Rita had Your Song (2017) on Phoenix (2018). And I think Come To My Party is pretty much confirmed with the music video and new mix? Otherwise are label really are dumb! I'd personally like No Angel and Girls Night Out cos they fit the vibe and are fan/Charli favourites. However do not get your hopes up for Taxi! Yeah... This album has been in the works all year, if not since 2017 alongside the mixtapes. She's probably just mad that her label announced it before she did so tried to play devils advocate and deny it to fans. But the statement from Asylum and her webstore confirming a new album is coming kinda gave her away! I think she's being tactical with fans now and is trying to get 1999 to be a bigger hit... I bet if it doesn't go top 10 we still get an album.

I don't think there's anyway you can affect the charts, but maybe just watch the music video to increase views?
