Watching old interviews (Sucker era) and Rita Ora really puts everything into perspective ahah Charli saying how when recording Sucker, Rita wanted Doing It for herself and her 2nd album. Since that interview we have had Sucker, Vroom Vroom, Number 1 Angel, Pop 2, endless collabs and now potentially XCX3! Since that interview Rita Ora fans have had 3 singles and now her second album is finally being released. Moral of the story - Rita wanted to snatch Charli's last top 10 hit (and it's likely we would've never heard Rita's version) and Charli is too good to us! So much material since Sucker. I wouldn't be mad, after 2 mixtapes and a couple of PC singles (as well as the leaks) I'm ready for some mainstream pop Charli.

I really want an epic winter music video for Lucky Like Charli in white fur out in the snow with like a holographic ice backdrop and then darkness with northern light visuals etc. Then she rips off the fur coat and is in her white fur underwear and goes into the fur party cave (a la Jimmy Kimmel) and dances to Bounce. Then she drops Bounce on streaming.

Tbh just for Bounce - I need a final mix with Kyary in my life. I mean it's suggested that there is a music video for CTMP... Also it showed the XCX doll house thing in a hazy pink light (and that's all we've seen) But looking at her insta story today there's like a house party clean up going on - but there's professional strobe lighting (hazy pink and blue) as if something was or has been filmed?? I mean wasn't that what Sucker was and I think it's a career highlight I love Charli when she goes mainstream! And I love her doing experimental - but I think a mix of albums and mixtapes is the way forward. mixtape (H&E) - mixtape (Super Ultra) - album (TR) - album (Sucker) - ep (VV) - mixtape (N1A) - mixtape (Pop 2) - album (TBC) and then maybe back to a mixtape. I think as an artist she benefits and gets different results from both her mainstream and experimental releases. I mean it still is XCX3 as in her 3rd studio album... otherwise this would be XCX7 if we included mixtapes.

Maybe once its sent to radio and she begins promo in the US it might pick up

I think its so Lana that this poetry book ain't coming til next year (at least) Of course Lana would see the benefit of releasing both the book and album together - but rather than bringing the album release forward she just delays the book

I'd really love her to get back on UK radio and do an X Factor performance or something (before US promo starts) and make this a top 10 smash! Then drop CTMP in January / February and serve us XCX3 for summer.
