I imagine the songs that were on the 2016 version were: 13 Beaches Best American Record (demo) Cherry Heroin Malibu Lust For Life (demo) Tomorrow Never Came (demo) Yosemite Young And In Love I think the record then started to shift into a more political direction with songs like God Bless America, WTWWAWWKD being recorded? I imagine it's around this time we got Beautiful People (LFL version) starting to form. There are some other political songs that we know exist that potentially were recorded around this time too. It's at this point I feel like Stevie and Sean were added to the album as features? As well as Get Free being finalised. Then I imagine Lust For Life (solo final), So Good and Groupie Love (demo) came around at a similar time? Lana was starting to bring in hip hop elements to the record, which had previously been described as witchy / folky. Maybe also the start of her including hip-hop artists? The Weeknd and A$AP Rocky. There's also a 3rd A$AP collab that was scrapped that could be from around this time. Summer Bummer (with A$AP), White Mustang and In My Feelings feel like last minute additions. Dipping into that trap sound whilst referencing the G Eazy breakup. Also adding Playboi Carti to Summer Bummer. We know Coachella and Change were both recorded quite late into the album process (after title announcement and Love release). Change being the last song recorded? This is all speculation but who knows.

Did you know that there's a tunnel under Ocean Blvd - Merch & Media Drop

I'm thinking maybe Monday with an official tracklist reveal? Like an actual post that doesn't get removed haha. I'd happily take a buzz single next week too to coincide with the merch drop... -

Especially if it's of the quality of the Ultraviolence box set, I'm thinking that unfortunately the box itself will just be white with the album text on, embossed or glossy (like the Ultraviolence box). Then the LP with the exclusive artwork which is the real collector's item here alongside 4-6 of Neil's glamour shots. The wave / flower imagery used to decorate the interior lining of the box. Unknown if a CD copy will be included? -

So I'm pretty sure the merch is gonna be an album cover tee, LDR Zippo, LDR coke necklace, keychain and postcards. The boxset will include CD (card sleeve), Exclusive 2LP (explicit cover) and lithograph prints. -
I really wish she put more care into her single choices, picking songs that show off her artistry rather than the "glittery gel pen" songs that seem like attempts at quick #1's. Here are my ideal single choices from her pop era's (songs that are still radio friendly but represent the album too). 1989 reputation Lover folklore evermore Fearless (Taylor's Version) Red (Taylor's Version) Midnights

This is my version of CRASH and I won't be changing it

A potential updated greatest hits album for Britney Spears following the success of Hold Me Closer and Glory 2020. Standard Edition: Deluxe Edition:
-
So I imagine the only songs that might make the album (assuming it exists) would be: 01. All My Lovers Die 02. Descending 03. Don't Forget 04. Hands All Over Me 05. Innocent Kind 06. Last Of The Famous International Playboys 07. Masochism 08. Voices Carry (studio cover?)

Anybody wanna take one for the team and update the Tropico - Ultraviolence timeline?
-
I see Cruel World listed as late 2013? I thought that and Pretty When You Cry were both created with Dan (no previous demo?), so wouldn't it be early 2014? Also, wasn't Beautiful People (demo) from the Ultraviolence era?
-
Somebody has found a code or something on her official store which shows a CD box set that will be up for pre-order soon. Confirming title and release date. I don't have a link but it was on PopJustice Forums
-
Judging by that Tropico tracklist at least several? Unless somebody can try confirm the song titled and whether they are original songs or alternative titled for songs we already have...
-
So the album is titled Endless Summer Vacation and released on March 10th allegedly
-
I agree, I also include Flipside and Is This Happiness
-
01. Old Money 02. Black Beauty 03. 04. Lake Placid 05. Summer Wine (?) 06. 07. I Talk To Jesus 08. Elvis 09. Easy Rider (Guns & Roses demo?) 10. 11. 12. 13.

I think Lana always envisioned Ultraviolence as just the 11 track album? From what I remember wasn't she really against the deluxe edition, hence why it was the last album of hers to get bonus tracks. Black Beauty was clearly popular with the record label and Lana had maybe moved on from that song (especially cos it had leaked) but the label liked it. Florida Kilos maybe was still intended to feature in a movie at the time of release and perhaps the label wanted to cash in by including it? But also I remember reading somewhere that it was one of her dad's favourite songs she'd recorded at the time. Part of me feels like she didn't have much say in the bonus tracks? As I'm sure she would have put songs like Living Legend etc on there since she clearly still values those tracks...
-
I'd have put If You Lie Down With Me alongside the Tropico era, lyrically it matches songs like Starry Eyed and JFK? It doesn't seem as refined as some of the latter Ultraviolence tracks. But that's just my opinion haha

In terms of a timeline I don't know if this is any help, but this is the officially released Ultraviolence songs arranged by songwriters (assuming Lana had songwriting sessions) allowing us to kinda see who helped create what song and whether or not any dates can be pinpointed to a session. And same again, except this time by studio in which the songs were recorded, I know a bulk of the Rick Nowels songs were rerecorded with Dan Auerbach and so that doesn't help greatly. Also the Blue Banisters credits don't list any recording details of the Ultraviolence outtakes, just mastering details. I know this is information we already had but maybe compiling it in this way might help?
-
You should've just been a cute in-between albums single, to help promote the NYE show and ATTENTION Tour. I'll be surprised if it's not just a bonus track on the upcoming album (assuming she's actually finished the studio version)
-
I really wish artists would do more behind the scenes things... I'm imagining a 2hour special where Lana and the producers (of said album) sit down together and talk about the demos, songs that didn't make the cut, their individual visions for the project, draft tracklistings etc. Even play demos and show footage from back then if they have it. Hear her discuss in depth the process and how the album came to be and how she ultimately decides when an album is finished. She could even have the creative team there to discuss the visuals and mood of the era? Album artwork, styling, fonts, the videos. Like a real deep dive into the creative process... Born To Die, Ultraviolence and Honeymoon especially deserve these!

Honestly, I'd love for us to get an Ultraviolence: Side B. It's my favourite era or hers and every single song (no matter how sonically different) just hits. 01. Angels Forever, Forever Angels 02. Ave Maria 03. Beautiful People 04. Cherry Blossom 05. Cult Leader 06. Dark City 07. Don't Stop 08. Dragonslayer 09. Fine China 10. Hollywood 11. I Can Fly 12. I Talk To Jesus 13. If You Lie Down With Me 14. JFK 15. Let Me Love You Like A Woman 16. Living Legend 17. Nectar Of The Gods 18. Queen Of Hearts 19. Say Yes To Heaven 20. Starry Eyed 21. Summer Wine 22. Unidentified Flying Bill 23. Wait For Life 24. Your Girl

Does anyone have this original 2013 Ultraviolence tracklist?
