Been listening to the early Katy Perry albums a lot lately and can't help but feel that if she'd kept the Complete Confection singles for this album we could've had a stronger third album - still shows growth but feels killer in the same way Teenage Dream does, removing some of the slower songs. Also feel like we could've had a much stronger singles run. Katy Perry - PRISM

I'd love a more stripped back, acoustic guitar, record. My mood board of songs would be; Not All Who Wander Are Lost Hallucinogenics Thunder Let The Light In Yayo (AKA Version)

I can't help but feel like more could've been done to celebrate Katy Perry's career thus far before the launch of her new era - and let's be honest she needs the push! Imagine a quick greatest hits package to promote the last leg of the Vegas show as well as tie in with her careers 15th anniversary. That alongside the vinyl represses and a potential video release of PLAY could have been a real relaunch for her and the GP. "Celebrate 15 years of Katy Perry with her brand new greatest hits album - including 9 Billboard Hot 100 #1 singles! 22 global hits including I Kissed A Girl, Hot N Cold, California Gurls, Firework, Roar, Dark Horse, Chained To The Rhythm, Never Really Over and more..." "Katy Cats! Go to katyperry.com now to vote which fan favourites you'd like to see appear on a special deluxe edition of Katy Perry's brand new greatest hits album!" "Like vinyl? Get your hands on the super limited edition Katy Catalogue box set, featuring One Of The Boys (15th Anniversary Edition) on cloud vinyl, Teenage Dream (Teenage Edition) on peppermint swirl vinyl and PRISM (10th Anniversary Edition) on splatter vinyl. Packed with exclusive photos, posters, bonus 7" single and more!" "Look out for special vinyl anniversary editions of Katy's first 3 records, repressed for the first time! Indie store exclusive variants are available to pre-order now while supplies last!" "Last chance to get tickets for Katy Perry's showstopping Las Vegas residency PLAY! Can't make a show? Make sure to catch PLAY: Katy Perry live from Las Vegas, coming to Netflix this fall! Shop exclusive PLAY merchandise on Katy Perry's official store now." Theoretical greatest hits tracklist:

Not so much a rearranging but just some tweaks to make the Taylor's Version series more uniform, like Disc 02 being strictly From The Vault, also including all acoustic versions from each era. Fearless (Taylor's Version) Speak Now (Taylor's Version) Red (Taylor's Version) 1989 (Taylor's Version)

The way I cancelled mine cos I have an open and sealed copy of the original UO pressing. So yeah, that was probably my singular copy being refunded haha

I mean just hydrangea's like the inside of the Ultraviolence box set
-
The UK deluxe original pressing was a gatefold as well as the picture disc in the box set and both have the skyline. But perhaps they'll use the hydrangea's to match the alternate artwork; similar to the box set inner lining.

Regarding the Born To Die era, I believe it all just came together as she'd just been signed to Stranger Records and they were having success with her as an indie pop artist. She started with a viral song online, she herself says she had no idea or intention for Video Games to be the first song people heard from her, it was just a song she loved and she posted it on YouTube. She'd posted loads of other demos online in the years 2009-2011 and hadn't achieved radio or chart success - and a lot of which were reworked for her major label debut. I imagine once signed to Stranger Records the process was more just Lana we've got a top 10 hit single in the UK, we're gonna make an album/EP, what songs do you already have? Then they probably played various tracks (we've seen the 22 track album sampler CD) to different teams, labels etc for feedback. Take that feedback into consideration alongside some of Lana's favourite tracks and a tracklist probably began to take shape. Obviously that's tracks spanning over a 3 year period, if not longer, in which her style changes (even now each album's style shifts), so if she was making music with no project in mind then there was no need for cohesion? Also she was writing a lot of pop songs with other artists in mind, so even if it was a collection of songs that she and her team loved I imagine it was a bit messy sounding. At this point I imagine Interscope were fully involved and they wanted to bring in a well known producer (Emile), to get all the songs re-recorded or reproduced to make a cohesive body of work. An up to date baroque pop sound which Lana genuinely seemed to adore at that time; I know her opinions on her music have changed but I don't believe for a second that she didn't love Born To Die! So yes I can see why now she might feel like it's just a collection of songs that exist together but I think she's discredited a lot of her own work and vision as well as the creative team behind that project.

I just find it a bit odd that an artist of her status doesn't have that much a social media presence? Also, why don't they just have an official Lana Del Rey account ran by her team, they're still doing her Facebook so don't understand why her Instagram and Twitter had to go?

Charli XCX - CRASH I'm not a big fan of Charli as an album, so I thought I'd take some of my favourites from that album and try include them on CRASH so that I listen to them more frequently!

Lana Del Rey - Lust For Life Imagining what Lust For Life might have sounded like if Lana hadn't went down the political/folk sound during the recording sessions.
