    TikTok Updates

I think most of what Lana posts is a hint at something. For example, when she uploaded that video singing a John Lennon song and most thought it was random. And then we found out about the collaboration with Sean Lennon.
  2. I'm starting to think they are divorced. Previous years he dedicated posts for her on mother's day. This year he hasn't.
  3. It's interesting how Lana went from being accused by white supremacists of "brainwashing youth into multiculturalism and promoting race mixing" for her National Anthem video to actually being accused of being a white supremacist herself.
  4. It says he's from Brazil, so it's not fair to expect people from other parts of the world understand the American perspective so well, or even be aware of their TV shows.
  5. As a soft/delicate woman I always felt glad someone like Lana made it big. What she says is so relatable. It always seemed like there is only space for loud or outspoken people. If you aren't like that, you are perceived as weak and, especially as a woman, it is your duty to show that you are "strong" and impose yourself. This reminds me of what Susan Cain said in her TED Talk titled "The power of introverts".
  6. "Where Juana was a beauty queen." I know what the lyrics say, but just can't help but hear that.
  7. She does seem confident to me, but as a non native English speaker I got a gloomy vibe from it (maybe it's obvious for others ). Since they were all blonde women who people mentioned died young, and she said she dyed her hair black for them and also decided to turn her shoes "the other way", "not at the ocean"... as a way of saying she doesn't want to end that way? I don't know, what do you guys understand? I loved it by the way.
  8. Which white artists could have she mentioned that would fit the description she made? Genuinely asking since I'm not up to date on current popular music.
  9. Why do her friends call her butterfly and send butterfly emojis? Maybe it's an inside thing only they can understand.
  10. To be honest, she's free to feel however she wants. It's actually really saddening to read what she wrote, you kind of feel the need to comfort her. The problem I think is in how she deals with it publicly, for two reasons: first, her mother is not famous nor does she own an active social media account, that we know of, in order for her to defend herself or give her side of things if she wanted to (as she is being made to look bad in front of millions of people). It's quite possible that she doesn't check social media and might not even be able to see these posts unless someone else shows it to her or tell her about it. Second, "Pat" might really be a bad mother, but there's also the possibility that they just have a rocky relationship and simply not get along because their personalities clash. In which case it would be very unfair that Lana is leaving the door open for the world to speculate the worse. Then again, those speculations could be true but there's no way to know for certain. And this is extremely personal but it must be a difficult situation for her father to be in. He didn't like those two Instagram posts. Could be a coincidence though. Other than that, the first tweet wasn't that bad to me and it's very sweet people with difficult relationships find comfort in it.
  11. In an era where most social media is about obssession with youth, perfection and narcissism, her constantly putting other people on the spotlight (especially her eldest family members) is a breath of fresh air.
  12. Thanks or the answers. I'm from Argentina and many people here are saying the crisis is not as big as the government says, that it's just a cover up for their shitty work . And some were actually praising the leaders of the USA and Brazil for prioritizing their economy, claiming it was the smart thing to do.
  13. I would like to ask people here... has the economy in your country been severely affected? Because where I come from some believe that ours is the only country that has it this bad. And that in the USA or Europe the citizens are barely affected (not losing their jobs at the same rate as us for example).

    Evanescence

Not what you would expect, but I really liked it.
  15. You seem very informed. I'm surprised other people appear so... nonchalant. Not saying we should be freaking out either.
  16. I don't remember where I read it exactly but I googled and this showed up https://www.churchofsatan.com/nine-satanic-statements/
  17. This doesn't really answer your question but it is an interesting topic. I remember reading Satanism doesn't frown upon revenge, but the contrary. And it was rumoured Lana was into it, especially during that time. Anyone correct me if I'm wrong about any of this.
  18. Venice Bitch is on the same level to me. But I'm guessing you don't consider it that way. In my opinion these 3 are her masterpieces.
  19. What is actually "the greatest loss" in the song? Her ambition, her lover?
  20. It's sad because she never showed off her boyfriends like that so she must have really liked him.
  21. It's not funny but I'm not a native English speaker and always thought in Venice Bitch she said "beautiful beautiful", not beautiful losers.
  22. If I remember correctly, she once said she wouldn't like to get coaching because her singing style gives her voice this unique quality. Anyone else remembers?
  23. I'm glad she finally found a real man who seems to treat her and behave like a gentleman. Such a difference from the hippie losers she used to hang out with. Every suspected partner seemed like they didn't give a fuck about her or didn't want to be seen with her or whatever.
  24. Didn't like it. I hate Chuck's "washed out" aesthetics. Only Lana herself and her cuteness save the video.
  25. Sometimes I forget about the existence of the masterpiece that is Dayglo Reflection.
