Minutes ago, Irish alt-country singer Holly Macve shared photos with Lana Del Rey during her visit in Los Angeles, California. In April 2021, Lana revealed to Rollingstone Germany that she would choose Holly to portray her in a biopic. Bit of a continuation from my last post, I just did a quick search for #pussyriot on Instagram and found a video of their performance of Hatefuck at SXSW the other week where you can hear a bit of Slayyyter’s verse from the track -

Nadya of Pussy Riot shared a teaser of what appears to be a music video for a collaboration with Slayyyter titled ‘Hatefuck’ on her Instagram captioned “coming soon.” The audio was muted. Nadya performed this song as a part of Pussy Riot’s opening act for the second half of Marina’s recent USA tour. From what I remember from seeing it live was that the chorus line was “I wanna hatefuck you” She danced along to Slayyyter’s verse which played from the track, which I remember to be a rap/talk type verse x

Something really interesting that came out of the posting of this on Spotify is the cover art featuring her handwriting - it looks to include some demo lyrics! in the bottom left you can see “Sun setting on Melrose Place, sweet serial killer Sippin’ lemonade, baby u know I love the thrill of the rush” Ironically enough, the line “so I’m sittin’ sippin’ cherry coke” is crossed out right above, even though she used 'cherry coke' instead of 'lemonade' in the final version. Towards the right you can see “if I play my cards right /// bar fight?” which eventually of course became “If I pray really tight, get into a fake bar fight”

Last month when I saw Marina live and she played 'Happy' - she wasn't even a full minute into the song when I started tearing up and continued to cry my way through the rest of the song. Didn''t expect it to hit me that hard, but whew... that song was first released during a really hard time of my life where I was completely miserable, and now I'm in one of the happiest points of my life. It was just really overwhelming in that moment as I was feeling the lyrics x When was the last time you changed your mind about something?

Earlier today, Lana Del Rey stopped to meet some fans outside of Sephora at The Grove while out and about with her dad in Los Angeles, California.

I split the discussion about this into its own thread. I wonder if it's an existing track or something new - honestly, I feel like Dealer would make a lot of sense. Especially since Pusha T referenced their similarity of drug addiction themes in their music, as well as the popularity of Dealer due to TikTok. A rap feature could perhaps push the song to radio! x

Just wanted to say because I've been seeing some chatter about it, there are no plans for this thread to be locked. Even if Sky doesn't release soon, the thread will still remain open. Back in September I took a spontaneous mid-week roadtrip with a friend to a random little suburban city about two hours away from me for a 3-day acting gig. It was a really good opportunity with great pay, but the only issue was actually getting myself there. I don't drive and knew Ubering would be expensive (if even possible) so I reached out to my friends to see if anyone would be down for an impulsive roadtrip. One of my best friends agreed since we never have taken a roadtrip together, and thought this would be a good practice run for when we actually take a more fun road trip lol. We stayed at a ~Hilton Hotel~ and it was right after the release of Arcadia, so we were jamming to that on the way there. We basically sung our way through the entire drive to a playlist we created, and had a great time! It was in the middle of the work week for him, so he just worked in the hotel room while I was filming, and then we explored the town at night, even though not much really happens in that town x When was the last time you discovered a new artist?
