WOW! I absolutely adore this. I can't stop replaying it - it has that jazz sound of hers I love. I also always adore her layered harmonies. So haunting and beautiful.

It seems to me like she had already recorded some of the song and either A, with the unfinished song decided to record a demo before actually recording the final or B, decided she wanted to change the lyrics after the fact.It kind of reminds me of Daddy Issues/I Was in a Bad Way & Daytona Meth/Party Girl where the same instrumental was used but one was a laptop recording (or both, in the latter)

The film he described that she's created sounds amazing.. I would love to see Lana in something like that. She's so dramatic and was adoreable in Poolside, she would do great in something as such.

So, I posted a few pages back about how Lana's dress was similar to a dress Marilyn Monroe wore created by the same designer.. but I also stumbled across this - maybe it wasn't only Marilyn she was channeling, as another one of her favourite people to channel also wore a similar dress - Priscilla Presely. Or, perhaps, they're both just channeling Marilyn here, but either way, I found it interesting and thought I should drop it here.

Who knows, she may include some old songs. Of course, Old Money had been in the works for years, tracking all the way back to Methamphetamines. And didn't she say in an article that Money, Power, Glory was really old as well? So, even though she is writing new songs, she may throw in a few old ones that she's been trying to finalize for awhile. I'm always excited to see what she has in store.

Personally, I think the dress looked very flattering on her. I love it. And her hair, goodness her hair.. Simply stunning. I also cried when I saw that snapchat video, she's too cute. ALSO: Lana vs. Miss Monroe - dress is from the same designer, William Travilla.
