@@forslayage In case anyone was still curious.. I went back to the Urban Outfitters today and decided to confirm what that poster was for. I asked the store manager, and she confirmed that it was in fact for a listening party, but the album won't be in stores until the 18th. I've heard from other fans from lanaboards, instagram, tumblr etc. that their local Urban Outfitters had no information on this. I was also at a different Urban Outfitters on Sunday (than from the one I found the poster in on Saturday) and they didn't have the poster in their store, so I'm guessing this event is at select locations. Also, I took a picture of the other side of the poster which says if you pre-order the album at the event, you'll be given a free lithograph.

I am in the USA, but I'm from London so I have that in my location. I actually went to a different UO than the one that I saw it from today to ask if I could have it when they were done, but I actually didn't see the poster in that UO, so I'm going back to the other one tomorrow to ask. Since I didn't see it in the one I went to today, maybe they're only at select stores. okay this is fake though bc the one in the store wasn't yellow and had different text

I took the picture and it's legit trust me lol. The picture was taken from the inside of UO, so the background is just the outside.

So, I posted a status about this but I thought I should post it here too. I was in Urban Outfitters yesterday and saw this poster on their window promoting Honeymoon, but it says at the bottom "September 12 - 3pm at All UO Stores" It's kind of small since the picture is LQ bc I took it through snapchat, but if you zoom in, you'll see it. (along with a poor watermark of my tumblr bc i am so done with fan accounts stealing pictures I post around :')) ​Do you think this is true or a possible mistake?

Mine's actually the day before yours, so I guess I can update you lol! I'm so excited, even though it's on a Monday and I have to drive an hour and a half to get to the venue, but I'm so excited to see her, even though I've never even heard a song by Purity Ring lol.

Hey everyone! Ever since I saw HANA perform "Clay" at Lana's show in Atlanta, I've become a big fan and have dug up a bunch from her old discography and have loved it. I'm going to see one of the shows she's opening for Purity Ring, but I was wondering if anyone else is going to any of the shows? If so, would someone mind updating the thread with her setlist? I know she did her own set at the Lyric Theatre the other day and she just started her tour with Purity Ring, but I've yet to find any possible setlists or performance videos besides "Clay" and "Avalanche," which I would expect her to sing anyway since those are the only 2 current songs she's released. I'd love to know what she's singing for the shows!

Mm... Not as jazzy as I was expecting, but it's still beautiful, especially the bridge and the chorus. It's a bit heartbreaking. Some of the verses' melodies remind me of We Are the Champions (ha) mixed with I Want to Sing, which we know Lana loves to sing.

Rob pretty much confirmed the meaning of the song with his recent post on Instagram. It's the shot Chuck took of Lana holding the gun captioned "Paparazzi beware.."

To me, it seems like that was to show she doesn't think that the media focuses on her music or writing, but rather the drama that surrounds her. (Her pre-fame past, "I wish I was dead already", SNL, etc.)

Well, the video makes the song make more sense. Rather than a song about a lover, it's definitely about paparazzi/media/stalkers. Especially with this video being shot at her house and the helicopter being there while she's running around trying to avoid it and then shooting it down is basically a message of her saying stop following me, leave me alone. I think the following lyrics show that same message: "Boy, look at you, looking at me I know you know how I feel I don't wanna do this anymore It's so surreal, I can't survive If this is all that's real All I wanna do is get by by the beach The truth is I never Bought into your bullshit When you would pay tribute to me Boy look at you, looking at me I know you don't understand Don't need your money, money To get me what I want Lights camera action Everyone can start again" It's such a beautiful video though, she looks lovely.

It just shows how much Lana has grown and how she's done letting people drag her down and becoming independent. (Barrie teas) I wasn't initially thrilled with the snippet, but after listening to the full song it's really nice and it sounds very current sounding, which will go in her favour. Proud of u babe xx

I just got tickets for the 14th, I had no idea she was opening!! Thank you for this post!! I've never listened to Purity Ring, but I guess I should start now that I'm going to see them (purely for HANA) I've become such a big fan of hers. I was captivated by her beauty when I saw her backing vocals for Grimes in Indiana and then captivated by her voice when she sang Clay at the show I saw in Atlanta. Ever since I've been addicted to her music. I love her This Way album from 2009 (esp. Red Death Ball, Need, Let Me Be, What Makes Things). I also love her Hallelujah cover and These Two Hands from her 2008 Hana Pestle EP. Also love Fight for Me from 2011's For the Sky.. her cover of Creep.. Fall Out.. she's just so amazing. I love her. Also, she's absolutely stunning!! I'm so excited to see her live again, and this time for more than just backing vocals and one song. I'm excited to see what she'll be singing, and if any new music comes out beforehand.

Wow. I'm completely blown away by this track. This is by far my favourite out of the batch of new leaks, and I see everyone else obsessing over it as well. It's this perfect bake of Bentley mixed together with Wait For Life topped with a bit of Kill Kill and just a dash of something à la The Man I Love. It has me completely hooked. Of course, it's already jumped heaps and bounds in my favourites list and I am so thankful to hear this track I didn't even know existed until a few hours ago. I've said it one too many times and I don't mind saying it again - I LOVE JAZZY LANA. This track really amplifies that, especially in the verses. The whole sound this song embodies is so obviously Lizzy with her "Hawaiian Surf Noir." As I've seen someone else comment, if this track was cleaned up a bit, it could most definitely fit in perfectly in Lana Del Ray AKA Lizzy Grant. Without a doubt. I don't have enough great things to say about this track. With it's Hawaiian-Jazz flare, it's painfully addictive. And I'm loving every second of it. Also, a bit of an imaginative reach - perhaps Lana Del Ray came from whoever "Ray" is. Maybe she handpicked Lana first and then chose Del Ray later, with this person in mind. It hasn't been the first we've heard of a "Ray." I say this because someone very dear to me by the name of Hannah gave me a necklace with her name on it, and after she was no longer in my life after a drastic event, I would wear the necklace and when people asked if my name was Hannah, I would reply with a simple yes. I would also introduce myself as such. I did that for a little while until I realized how the time was passing and how I needed to detach myself and move on lol. Maybe this person is someone Lana just can't move on from.. "Even though you're not here, won't move on..." Or perhaps "Lana & Ray" is referring to just herself, becoming Lana Del Ray in the name's early stage. Or maybe it started out as just Lana Ray, which was also mention in Trash Magic.. "Lana Ray, will you serve me lemonade?" Or perhaps I'm just overthinking this whole thing and whoever Ray is had nothing to do with her name and I should stop letting my mind come up with crazy ideas. Anyways. One last addition before I stop rambling about this track, I can't quite decipher what comes after the "we were living on côtes de l'île" bit, but after what sounds to be "low cal" she makes a sound similar to the last two syllables in Chevrolet (chev/vrolet). So maybe she's saying "low-cal" and then whatever a "vrolet" is. Perhaps some sort of French food (??) or maybe the whole bit is French since she seems to be sprinkling it in here and there in this track. Also, perhaps the "low-cal" could be "local" and then whatever that last bit is supposed to be. Or maybe Lana just made it up. You know how she can be.
