I totally agree. I want all new tracks from Lana (with the exception of the country tracks Lana debuted, live, with Jack years ago, I wouldn't mind having official studio versions of those tracks). Lana is going to do whatever she wants to do, but keeping even cover songs off of the album would be okay with me. She can save those for the American Standards album that will (hopefully) see the light of day at some point. That said, I am expecting 'Take Me Home Country Roads' to be featured on Lasso.

Willie Nelson actually did a cover of 'Cowboys Are Frequently, Secretly Fond of Each Other' in 2006 as a solo artist. This is why Orville asked Willie to duet with him on it for his upcoming duets album, Stampede.

I'm a fan of Paul Cauthen. He's part of my Americana musical resurgence. He has a song called Cocaine Country Dancing that gives me life! It's a personal fave track of his lol Good to see he knows a queen when he meets one

The original album ended at the song Twinkle. The bonus tracks, though good, don't really add anything to the original album, for me at least. It's a stunning work of musical art. Boys for Pele is such an iconic album from Tori. If you've never listened to this album @shapeofmybody, you seriously need to. I keep a list of perfect albums (which to me are albums that have zero skip-able tracks) and Boys for Pele is one. This album changed my musical evolution when it came out. Still to this day I listen to this album, beginning to end. My fave Tori project ever. This album cemented Tori as a tour de force singer/songwriter. Period. Wow. I fucking LOVE this album!! EDIT: This album cover is also, so iconic. Everything about it.

Just chiming in to say that Lana FUCKING KILLED IT during her 2nd Coachella weekend. She sounded unbelievable and so in her feels. Not shy or nervous in the least. Last weekend she def had the first show jitters mixed with the audio issues probably got the best of her. Lana performed like a true headliner last night. Stunning, Immaculate, Perfection x💯 That said... the Camila Cabello feature was jarring, disjointed and hostile. TayTay would have been the most iconic feature and I kinda feel like a huge missed opportunity, especially with Jack making an appearance. That Camila song sucks and did not fit with Lana's vibe at all. I just didn't get it 🤷🏼‍♂️

I woke up to msgs form some of my TayTay fanatic friends telling me that 'I Can Fix Him (No Really I Can)' is Lana UV era coded. They said they want to hear Lana do a cover of that song. I haven't listened to her new album yet, so I have no opinion. That said, TayTay probably does take inspiration from Lana on some level.

I highly doubt this would happen, except maybe in a parallel universe... but given that TayTay went to Coachella last weekend as a spectator, that leaves this weekend open for her to be a special guest. Having TayTay as a special guest, arguably the biggest female star in America rn, on the day she drops her new album would be massive! And I could totally see them duetting Snow on the Beach live for the first time. Could be a huge boost for our girl, Lana, and a punch in the face to Courtney Love after her interview this week lol Of course this is me talking out my ass and being delusional.

It's also been a record year for concerts, so that probably makes sense. I mean, Lana did a tour of the Southern States, Doja just finished a nation-wide tour. Tyler and Ice Spice are the only 2 headliners who didn't tour this year (that I know of). I do hate the fact that Lana is finally the headlining act and sales are down. She deserves better tbh. I believe tickets for this weekend are sold out, but not next weekend.

Same dude. I'll won't be able to stay up that late to watch it live. I'm hoping that it will be available to stream a replay on Sat afternoon. Do we know if that's how Coachella streaming works? Thank you @hotshot2am That said, I still have not received my "exclusive" email from Lana's webstore or wherever it's coming from. I assumed my exclusive email was related to Lana's SparkleJumpropeQueen fan site. I did however receive an email from Universal Canada that included a preorder link. The copies for sale via Universal Canada were more expensive than the version I bought on her official storefront. Edit: I do not live in Canada Edit 2: I finally received my email at 1:45pm EST. That's almost 2hrs late

I have wanted studio versions of both country tracks she performed with Jack at the Ally Coalition Concert for years. We all know Lana doesn't like "bonus tracks" on her album releases, but both tracks would be fitting as bonus tracks. The Lanaverse has salivated for these tracks long enough 🤞🏻🤞🏻

Not that it means anything, but one of his posts (number 18 if you're counting back) uses Young and Beautiful for the soundtrack. Tbh, I could see why Lana likes his work. Def seems right up her alley.

Yeah, agreed dude. Charlie's debut single did not move me in any direction, except maybe away from the speaker. My guess is he's gifted in other areas, not everyone can be a LDR. To each their own, though. I'm sure there are peeps out there jamming to his single, with the windows down, blaring it loud! I am not one of those peeps

I don't mind this at all. I'd like a full album of new tracks. I was kinda expecting TMHCR would be a track on Lasso. It seems like a fitting track tbh If it goes down like last era, we wont know the cover until preorders go live. I also hope she continues with offering different covers with different vinyl variants. I don't want a repeat of Chemtrails where I have 12 different vinyl variants with the same album cover.
