Yes! And you can definitely tell they’re sister tracks. They share small similarities, and they would’ve definitely fit in the same album

Lana’s live takes are always the best : PWYC, hope, WD, Yosemite...

NFR starts as a morning album and ends with hope, a self-reflective song that’s better to listen to at night. COTCC starts with a self-reflective song that’s better to listen to at night, and ends with For Free, a song to begin a new day.

Yeah, when I want to sing along I always mess up the beginning haha Lana’s team better fix this up ASAP! They can’t do Yosemite dirty like that

Yup... I hope it gets fixed. It doesn’t bother when you listen to both tracks in a row, but when you just want to listen to Yosemite, it really feels abrupt

I find the video beautiful. Roller skating is captivating! I just wish there were more scenes with Lana skating. Such a bummer she broke her arm

This album is getting even more critical acclaim than NFR Norman only had two perfect scores that counted for Metacritic, and I believe Chemtrails already has more but they’re not counted yet

I have no idea when, probably in a few hours or in the next few days, but they will definitely be added so don’t worry too much about that

I honestly kinda agree with you. I wouldn’t say her past albums are pale, but she really found her sound with NFR and COTCC. A lot of people hate the fact that she’s not making music like BTD or UV anymore, but I think she just needed to experiment with a lot before deciding what she was the best at. NFR and COTCC are so reminiscent of her May Jailer and early Lizzy Grant days, I feel like she’s always wanted to be a kind of singer-songwriter artist and it just feels like a natural progression

Listening to the album on Spotify is such a different experience from the leak. It sounded amazing before, but now it really sounds awesome and the bass seems more pronounced

I’ll probably never be over Yosemite And the transition with BUS is one of the best Lana has ever had on an album

All of the 5/5 reviews she’s getting should hopefully be enough to balance The Guardian’s stupid review

It feels so surreal, I can’t believe it’s finally out! And she’s getting critical acclaim, she deserves it so much. We don’t talk about The Guardian, it’s pretty obvious that they hold a grudge against Lana.

I wish it was the same for my university grades, maybe I would’ve gotten a 90% out of my 80% Anyway, I’m happy for Lana if it stays above 80/100, she deserves it so much krkrkr

I know that, but I literally don’t understand how the score can be 82 when none of the reviews has a score above 80. Even if Mojo’s review weights more, it’s still an 80, so how can we end up with an 82? I’m so confused haha

There are three 80/100 and a 70/100 on Metacritic, but the general score for the album is 82/100. I’m not a maths expert but...

The album is getting a lot of 80/100 and that’s pretty good, don’t get me wrong, but it actually deserves more so hopefully it stays above 80 on Metacritic

Why is everyone surprised that the album isn’t out in NZ? We already knew it wasn’t going to be a local release. The release date appears to be March 21 on iTunes for the sole reason that it’s going to be a worldwide release on the 19th

I had completely forgotten that I ordered the box set and I just remembered today, I can’t wait to get it!! All the pics we’ve seen so far are so pretty
