I'd be a little disappointed if it came out digitally first. I revere Lana's album release days. For Honeymoon I bought the CD and vinyl in our local Boston record store Newbury Comics and they always play Lana's album the morning of the release. I'm always the first one there and the staff basically rolls their collective judgmental eyes at me. I went across the way after to hit Urban Outfitters and buy their HM edition. And the twink behind the counter hit me up on Grindr after. Obviously we were both bottoms tho so...

I mean, once it's out, it's out. Every leaked music site will have it for download. Then just buy it once it's out physically on cd, vinyl, cassette, box set* *Buy it on all those platforms bish.

Do you think if Lana came out with the kind of music she's serving for LFL right after BTD she'd have had more mainstream success? The smiles, the beats, the collabs, etc. I could see more radio play for sure. *I don't personally care for mainstream success, it was just a thought I had today.

The musician she's singing about is Father John Misty right? Social/political consciousness is kinda his thing. He couldn't have helped out his friend on this one...

I attended the Boston show (AKA not really Boston but Mansfield) and I really loved the surf music that set the scene right before Lana came on. Does anyone have any ideas as to whether the song played is an actual song and what it's called? Any help would be well...helpful!

I'll be at the Boston show as well! Live in the city and excited to see Lana in my hometown. I've seen her twice before, in NYC and in Birmingham UK, so this will be an extra special show. Would be fun to meet up with other diehard Lana fans!

Well Gaga's "Fame Monster" had what four? It probably depends on how many the studios think they can push/will be successful.

Really nothing of Lana's is radio friendly. Not just because of explict lyrics or content but even tempo. A lot of the tempo sounds like it should belong on Adult Contempory but that is not really Lana's audience. I sure hope she doesn't write music for Billboard Top 40 positions. It just doesn't fit in with anything. Which is a good thing! I like single releases for the possible remixes and videos that come along with it. With the prospect of those I hope "American" and "Body Electric" become singles. There could be insane remixes of "Body Electric".
