UV is more than being ultraviolent.
At the beginning, Lana introduces us to her dark past. She was filled with poison like drugs and alcohol.
 
Nevertheless, Jim liked her ("blessed with beauty"). Him hitting her might be a metaphor of him bringing her back to life ("Jim brought me back"). "And it felt like a kiss" shows she was not used to reality since she had been loathing it with drugs.
Lana experiences a collision of reality and fiction and this feels like extreme violence to her ("I can hear sirens"; "This is Ultraviolence").
 
"Jim raised me up" refers to him showing her her beauty and the beauty of the world.
 
Jim's effort of distractig her from drugs failed. She wants to go back, back to drugs when everything was simple. "Crying tears of gold, like Adam and Eve" displays her prediction. She is aware of her going back to her habits.
The last part fulfils her prophecy: Lana says good-bye with heartbreaking words.

This shows how transparent Lana is, and it validates the reason why I give her such praise for her songwriting. The girl is, in my opinion, a musical genius. She has so many layers, and I like that she is able to articulate it through her writing. This constant use of the word "blue." I would have never thought of it. Work, Ultraviolenc3.

I don't think so, I don't want just a plain color (like BTD) or a Baroque painting (like Paradise) I hope it's the flowers pic like in UO ed.

She also launched an Australian store at one point too (the link on her fb started redirecting here for me instead of to the LDR.com one) where they offer free shipping and cheaper prices in general HERE. (I got the box set for $75 and cancelled my $120 order from the LDR.com sight - Universal UK hikes up the shipping prices so much its criminal )  The AU store also have the Deluxe 2LP Vinyl and Standard/Deluxe CD's seperately. 
 
Hope y'all can scrape some savings too w/ these seemingly hidden links    - it's like they're tryin' to bury the cheaper prices...

Would you guys (not talking to you directly even though I quoted you) rather it be $24.09? Single songs on iTunes cost $2.19 and that times eleven equals twenty-four dollars and nine cents. So we are really getting a discount.
And if it is seven dollars more for three more songs, that means a single song off the deluxe edition would be two dollars and thirty-three cents. That's only a little more expensive than the iTunes price. You're only paying forty-two cents more than you would for purchasing the deluxe songs separately on iTunes. If you guys don't want to pay it, then just wait until you can pre-order it on iTunes and download it digitally and make your own CD. You guys were dissing the cover in the first place anyway...

What! Ugh, I really want to go to America now even more! I know the Australian dollar is worth more than the American dollar so if anything, it should be a dollar twenty-nine here and two dollars and nineteen cents there. I really want to get out of this damn country

My mum and grandma would be having a go at me if I were like you guys who think it's too expensive, saying that I'm acting like I'm in poverty. Eighteen dollars is nothing. I can understand the Box Set being expensive but not the CD.
