Lana's music and talent deserves more success than Taylor and can have as much as her, if not more than her, but Lana really doesn't even care about that and numbers and sales. Of course she wants her music to do well but she couldn't care less.

I really hope there's some kind of upbeat, faster song on this record. Nothing like she's (officially) released before. Justice for Puppy Love (forever hopes and never gets a reimagined working of it ever because she will never...)

An opinion saying "I don't like her lyrics on this track" or "I don't like the way she sang this part on this track" is different than "Omfg, she's releasing another soundtrack song?" or "Omfg, she's releasing another album? She just fucking released one..." Know the difference. The latter is what I'm talking about. Can you fucking read?

I just hate the kind of people who complain about her releasing soundtrack songs or releasing another album a year after her last one, though. At least we're getting music from her which just adds to the 200+ songs we already have.

Your view on it is interesting. In your opinion, she'll lose more fans, but a lot of people I've talked to who weren't fans of UV or BTD were glad she dropped UV like she did and started work instantly on HM. I do agree though, she needs to be more open about what's going and talk about it instead of just kind of dropping hints and then not following through with her original plan without any explanation. I think the only reason why she dropped UV was because she had something to get over that she used to album to deal with and she found her muse to make HM, which shows that she has creative control over her which is good (but messy... )

It's not even a registered song, I don't think that's real... We don't even know if it's a song on the record (although, if we take a guess that it is, we'd most likely be right)

Maybe she doesn't but she could at least tweet something about it so the whole confusion is dealt with. We're kind of being left in the dark about the whole thing so the way it's being handled is kind of, well... messy.

It's not 100% her fault, but it is partly. When she agreed to do the song, she should've made sure it was planned to be on the soundtrack or have some kind of release to promote the movie, or at least express why the song isn't being released or what the song will be used for/how we will get the full thing. Then the other part is the fault of the movie director/producer/whoever the hell does score/soundtrack stuff. They should have put the song on the soundtrack and made sure with Lana and her label that it was okay to release on the st. Then again, it could've been Interscope's fault for not letting her release it, right????

I'm just hoping we'll eventually get an album of 80s pop, since she likes to use past time periods as a central muse. BTD- 60s, UV- 70s... etc. Interested to know if this era is going to be 60s, since she said it'll be more like BTD, or if it's have more of an overall jazz theme to the whole thing, not just a couple jazzy tracks here and there.

It's strange because the song snippet with the trailer is still on Lana's Insta so if this mess wasn't intentional and she didn't know it wouldn't be on the soundtrack, she would have taken it down. It's like she was aware that she'd be giving us this snippet but not release it... Lana, you tease.....
