"Life Is Beautiful" - Soundtrack for The Age of Adaline
CarcrashBandicoot replied to Trash Magic's topic in New Releases
The reason here is because she doesn't run her social media herself like she used to pre-BTD. Of course, she runs her Instagram herself, but she never really tweets or posts on FaceBook unless it's a tracklist for a new record, a confirmation for releasing a single/feature/soundtrack song, or more tour dates and the tour dates always say "She's going to be playing here" not "I'll be playing here on [enter date here.]" It's like she's been told she's not allowed to talk to any fans through Twitter (then again, maybe she's trying to keep things under wraps so nobody really tries to hack her again and leak anything... which I wouldn't blame her for.) If she personally tweeted about what she's up to every once in a while, we wouldn't always be confused. -

Idk if anyone else has or not but I tweeted Dan, hopefully something good can come out of that. This is so goddamn irritating, I want it to be on an EP of b-sides or songs she didn't release or have a chance to release (but that is only just a dreeeeeam) at this point so we can have the full version (hackers...?? hello??? "when the world needed them most, they vanished. A hundred years have past and the members of LB... but I believe, hackers can save the world...") -

What if that video she shot recently was for this song...? Like, she's waiting for the video to officially release it? -

Can we just cut out one of those irrelevants and just add this song in there because honestly... -

Then again, we haven't heard the full thing so maybe there's more elements to it that were implemented into BB. I guess we'll have to wait for it to release to really know... -

But see, the thing is, her soundtrack songs are really good. I love every one of them. Don't get me wrong, I want Honeymoon in August, but at least these kinds of songs are holding us over until she releases the album. -

She looks so positive and in a good place. Maybe that means her writing for Honeymoon won't be as dark as Ultraviolence was. -
What would you change about Lana's albums/eras?
CarcrashBandicoot replied to GodBlessMe's topic in Lana Thoughts
I would've changed Paradise to a full LP and this would be the tracklist: Ride Cola (Pussy) JFK Body Electric Starry Eyed (an actual finished version... because I'd love for her to have written an actual second verse...) Blue Velvet Bel Air Gods & Monsters Burning Desire Lucky Ones Yayo -
Btw I sent that girl that message

I actually agree. Now it's kind of just... outdated, really. -
The thing is, they both knew what he was signing up for. If she was uncomfortable with him doing it, she should've said something before the first movie was even being filmed...

Nevermind, now. The guy who played Christian Grey just reportedly pulled out of the sequels of Fifty Shades, due to his wife's request. Source

Considering the fact that it was #1 opening weekend and made more than 10x the budget, I'd say yes, there'll be sequels.

When she cancelled performances, she was sick. Would you rather her be sing and her vocals sound terrible and get made fun of more (because let's be honest, nobody has forgotten the SNL gig) or her resting her voice for a few days? Because I'd rather her do the second option. -

She's performed songs from UV COUNTLESS times. And West Coast had it's debut on BBC Radio 1 and I've heard it a couple times on the radio here and I live in Florida (still moving to NY, btw...) But no, I think a lot of the "ditching" had to do with the label. She can't just do promo by herself, she's gotta have help from her label as well as performing live and doing whatever. I think she could've done the singles in a better fashion but I still think it was on the label. We knew from the start that they didn't like the way she was going with the album, anyway. They wanted her to work with Adele's (I think it was Adele) producer and when she said she didn't want to, they said whatever and let her do it her way but if the label doesn't like the record, why would they promote it, even if it's a successful album? -

She didn't ditch it, really, more than her record label did. Hell, she was performing songs from UV on the Paradise Tour. Then again, she DID tease the PWYC video and never put it out... But still, I wouldn't say she ditched it. She was spitting out promo singles like crazy before the release of the album. -
Lana taught me that music can take influence from the past and not be bad. Like, some music is really annoying when people try to make music that sounds like it's from 40+ years ago but Lana does what she does really well and most artists who try to do what she does can't do it the same way. She's literally iconic, whether she's #1 on iTunes or #20 on iTunes. She's an icon of the American dream, imo.

Interesting. Thanks for posting -
I used to listen to BOTDF a while back but I forgot about them ... At least, I forgot about them until Dhavie Vanity fucking followed me on Twitter and I still don't know why... I was into pop/punk Paramore, Fall Out Boy, and Panic! At The Disco at one time and I occasionally go back and listen to their older stuff since imo it's their best. (Except Panic!'s latest album was great.) I grew up listening to Marilyn Manson (and I got back into their stuff recently), Guns N Roses, My Chemical Romance, Blue October, Green Day, Sum-41, Blink-182... etc, etc. Does anyone know of Coheed & Cambria? They're pretty great. I used to really like Slipknot and Korn but recently I haven't listened to them much so...

Well we know that about UV, it's not Jimmy Gnecco, but I mean I wonder what other songs she's talking about alcohol in that isn't said or explained.
