The new album is genuinely terrible.

So soon after giving birth? Surprised. I actually won’t expect an album out of this tbh, probably a single or something though. Hopefully an album though, i miss her.

She said her son doesn’t call her Mom because she doesn’t identify with that word, or something.

Apparently she may not do book 2 because she’s tired because her computer broke down, or something.

I like the song. Better than 99% of the shit she’s made in the last 2 years.

She’s putting together a girl group now and their song will be on one of her new albums…..or something i dunno.

Don’t worry, now that she had surgery she’ll need 6 months to recover which means we won’t get Book 1….or Book 2… or Fairies….or the darkcore compilation…..or a song……for another year now. You can rest x

Forgiveness is one of the worst songs she has ever done. It’s beyond generic.

The new album is so weird. The first few songs which are the singles are……ok i guess. Don’t really love any of them but a couple are listenable. Hold The Girl is the best out of all of them. Middle tracks are absolutely sublime, Holy, Your Age, Imagining, Frankenstein, Hurricanes. She really said “Blow these fagurts eardrums out” with Imagining when she recorded that. Then the last few tracks are so boring. It’s a very inconsistent album and sadly disappointing as a follow up to her debut which is pretty much perfect from start to finish bar 1 track. I feel like she was aiming for a large part of the album to have a real stadium pop sound, similar to Gaga’s Born This Way album, but it doesn’t really hit as hard as Gaga did. It may grow on me, but it’s such a mixed bag honestly.

Yeah the song will be a hit for sure.

Black Lake is 10 minutes if absolute bliss.

Her music has aged so well. Yes i hear that too, i’m getting major Volta vibes.

So i pre-ordered the Aaliyah vinyl from her official site ONE YEAR AGO. The vinyl has been through endless delays due to manufacturing issues. Frustratingly another company named VMP released a vinyl of the same album which is actually much nicer than the one I purchased (and it actually got released in April) so I cancelled my pre-order and now have this on the way, thank fuck. What a waste of time, no idea why her store couldn’t get this made in time since other companies are doing so easily…

Hurricane is……fine. That’s 6 songs from the album that are simply fine. Apparently the rest of the album so different and amazing or something, guess i’ll find out Friday but i’m guessing there are 2 bangers on this album with everything else being lacklustre.

We will get more elf photoshoots though.

Remember how at the start of the year we were meant to get 3 releases this year. There’s 3 months till the end of the year….i guess we’ll get them next year
