There's another Beyoncé esque album deal with iTunes coming.
Could be Lana.

Well, to some people who said that Born to Die underperformed in Europe and that the sales in general were kinda "meh", I really have to disagree. Her album was the 4th biggest selling in 2012 and inside the Top20 in 2013. For an album that got released in January in 2012, it is more than remarkable that it was able to sell that well throughout 2013.
She is one of the best selling female artists (only regarding her album sales) in recent two or three years. Her album has done better than the latest releases of Madonna, RIhanna, Lady Gaga, Kesha, Ellie Goulding, Emile Sande, Miley Cyrus.
Also, don't check Wikipedia for sales and certifications. One example for Wikipedia: the sales in France on her wiki page currently stand at 356k. In truth, she is already over 460k. You get a Diamond certification in France for 500k. Her sales in the UK are almost 900k, around 550k in Germany, over 60k in italy and Switzerland, 100k in Poland (Diamond) etc.
She was only outsold by Katy Perry, Adele, Pink and Taylor Swift. This is a huge achievement for a pop female artist selling 4.5 million records and she wasn't promoted at all in Asia. That is the only territory where she is a non-factor.

When I say record, I don't mean just RECORD vocals.
I mean the songwriting, production, etc.
It's not possible for human being to scrape an entire album and make another that fast.
Water and H2O
ANyway, I don't think we're on the same page anymore.
"Record in a day"
Record what? fart sounds?

Spilling tea like "O-M-G!! Dan Auerbach is the only producer" "They scrape Theeee ALLLbum" *says in MeanGirls/Regina's voice*
And Moi try to give an explaination that it's not possible
They still be like:
"Nuh Ah, recording an album can take a few days"
I had fun guys. I mean no harm.

of course, no one knows for sure. I'm just stating the general process.
It's not rocket science. And You don't have to be actual recording artist to know these things?
Oops I said "RECORDING artist" what does that mean now? Trivia, QUIZ???
Some posters post the most bizarre things and even after proven wrong they still refuse and think they are right.
I always assume people know these things, apparently NOT

Exactly, recording an album is a process. It doesn't mean record a voice for me for most people anyway.
Look at me I'm recording my voice using "my iphone"...i just made my very own album.
k bye.

LORD, I need air.
I can't even comprehend your post!
I know that Paradise Vocals were recorded in one take because you can hear the differences in verse 1 and verse 2
Do people here understand what recording an album means? tho
I mean i'm not an artist but at least I know the concept and read about it.
Are you implying when Lana "Record" an album she simply goes in the studio and sing/record vocals and that's it.
Even Zombieney/ Robot ney knows how to pick the good beats over the bad beats and what sound she wants for her album.
So Lana simply walks in and record vocals and Voilà "UV is finished"
>...................................................................................................................................................
Anywho, From what I can understand the writing, recording vocals, production are usually fused together. Lana seems to be that kind.
I can imagine most singer songwriters like Lana would sit down with her writer or producer and craft the song together. Sometimes, the lyrics would come first sometimes the melody. Then she would test the vocals and producer would layer production (simple beats, drums, whatever) to get the feeling of the song. This could take days - months.
After they are happy with what they got, Lana would return to studio to record the final vocals (Main Vocals, Ad Libs, etc) and let the producers cut, paste, master it and produce the song. Once again, weeks - months.
Also, Lana could have an existing song that she had written all by herself. She would go in the studio and work with them to edit the lyrics.
Then proceed to record the vocals. AFter that is done, producer proceed to produce the song and she would advise and tell them the sound she wants.
LAna could also have a finished song, but she wants more. She could go to another producer and let them add their own spin to the existing song.
.......................................................................................................................................................
An artist like BritKnee for example would just record her vocals and let the producer do all the work since she doesn't write her songs.
Knee simply picks the best production and say what she likes or doesn't like etc.

what even? Lmao
Google play didn't leak anything. Do you realize Google play offers higher quality audio compared to iTunes RIGHT?
Anyway, we still don't know if we get an alternate version.
Song is up on iTunes Brazil and it's same one we got so far.

Lana recently followed him on twitter as well Dan from The Black Keys.
As we know she worked with Dan like two weeks ago.

You guys are crazy. Mike Will is an amazing producer. I'm glad she worked with him.
Actually, I'm happy she worked with someone NEW instead of the same guys on BTD.
She was also spotted in the studio with Lenny Kravitz but I'm not sure whether they were working on the album or not.

I hope someone edit the trailer version to the actual song.
It sounds way more epic with the added drama and drums in the trailer.

Also I wish there's an alternate version with that Lullaby? Piano thing playing at the beginning and through out the song as well.
