I really want this album like asap, but I definitely don't expect Lana to drop it out of nowhere. She said herself that it wouldn't be a surprise, so the album probably wouldn't come out until months after she announces it. I don't want to wait that long tho

That depends because we don't know how much of the sound came from Lana vs the weeknd. I'm guessing it won't be similar to LDR5. It should at least tell us what her direction is lyrically I hope Now you made me realize she didn't make any solo project songs (for like movies n stuff) in between HM and LDR5. So here's to LDR5 being more of a surprise compared to her previous albums

I agree with this. It shows us the transition in Lana's sound. Kind of like how Big Eyes and Wait For Life were the transition sound from UV to HM imo.

If you think about it, she made at least one homemade music video for each album, so it's likely that she will make another one for the next album. It's like homage to how she got her success

Random thought-- I really want Lana to work with Quentin Tarantino in the future! They would be great together for making visuals+music. Definitely don't expect her to work with him on a mv for LDR5 tho.

Many Lana fans want her to be upbeat and fun, which I understand. She isn't getting younger tho, so I feel any new music she puts out will be more mature. Lana will never be J Lo or Madonna, so we gotta let go of that. I'm expecting LDR5 to be only similar to HM (I'm okay with that). A lot of us are young so we want fun music to shake our ass to, but Lana is an old soul. She ain't a party girl anymore imo. Who knows, maybe I'm wrong.

I think Lana would do well with a song like this It's dark, sexy, and subtle but powerful. The instrumental is pretty different and edgy imo, so it would be interesting to hear something like this with Lana.

One of the best things about this fan base is that we will make a studio version of songs from her instagram videos. I feel #blessed

I imagined a music video for OTTR, and it would start out like a photoshoot that resembles Nancy Sinatra's video "These Boots Are Made For Walkin'."
