I could totally understand some resentment Lanamay have for Lorde. Lorde was literally successful overnight, and welcomed with open arms. All celebrities were talking about her etc, everyone thinking she's the coolest bitch around. Whereas Lana worked so much harder and was met with total criticism, exposés and shit and is still slated by critics.

Even if she did say those things (which she obviously did). Taking one quote and composing an entire article around that is definitely manipulative.

yessss, the second verse is one of the highlights from the whole album. I think the song would be better with just a guitar solo as the bridge with maybe some vocal harmonising. The dope and diamonds part seems a bit forced. And I'm obsessed with the line basically means she only has 1 win for every 3 fails in her life. so sad
