  1. UGH YES I said before how if she ended Lust For Life with a cover to summarise the record like she'd done before this would have been the perfect one.
  2. Joining the manifestation train Red River Valley Carpenters – Superstar Creedence Clearwater Revival – Lodi Elvis – Love Me Dolly Parton – False Eyelashes Connie Francis – Where The Boys Are Crosby, Stills & Nash – Helplessly Hoping Jim Croce – Walkin' Back to Georgia Roxy Music – Avalon Bruce Springsteen – Racing In The Street Mamas & Papa – Twelve Thirty Melanie – Look What They've Done To My Song -------- This aligns so much with her current state of mind
  3. All of the following are actually reasons I lover her.... but she's not exactly easily manageable or concerned with being liked by the masses or easily palatable or all that cooperative or open when it comes to marketing her releases. She uses selfies as single art and she likes antagonising and fucking with people and picks fights with reviewers on twitter. She isn't forced to go on the promotional circuit like other artists and that's her choice and somewhat of a privilege. It's not like moving to another label would mean she would start appearing on late night shows. In fact I think the only reason Lana would move to another label is because they would relinquish even more control to her.
  4. Lana has access to anything she wants. She is extremely lucky to be supported by Interscope considering the way she behaves
  5. Reeeeeally excited for this and to see her picks. she can seldom be trusted with what she says so I'm really hoping they aren't just dusty theatrical standards but instead her favourite songs from her favourite artists that she considers classics.
  6. I'm obsessed with the studio where Thunder and California were recorded. The songs literally sound the way the studio looks—that warm, rich, burnt, textural 70s vibe. A music video for Thunder there would be so perfect
  7. Thunder neeeeeds a legitimate push as a single of course it won't happen so I'm not gonna get disappointed. A sunburnt orange-tinged Super 8 music video intercut with studio footage >> That song could easily be A listed on BBC Radio 2 and probably a little play on Radio 1
  8. the photo is so similar to your icon!!
  9. The blue cover is really powerful she looks like some wealthy widow. It fits the vibe of Nectar of The Gods so well. The standard cover with the dogs is seriously so great too. the fact we believed we were having to endure that picsart car selfie, when we actually got 2 beautiful, refined, and quietly powerful covers. I won't be buying either though as the prices are stupid
  10. Is anyone able to find it because I recognised straight away its a different edit I think her face is more retouched I wanna compare them lol
  11. Totally loved the video especially the outro. Wish she would sing on a track like that. The song is beautiful which is a given I just can’t help feeling it would be better with a more traditional vocal instead of the intentionally wonky/warbling jaded jazz singer vibe she’s going for. I can think of 3 songs off the top of my head where she’s doing an intentionally emotive vocal that’s not really concerned with sounding pretty or whatever, Pretty When You Cry, White Dress and Arcadia, with Arcadia I being the one I like the least ?‍♂️
  12. Cherry Blossom has really had the weirdest trajectory ever. From first being heard by Lana very randomly deciding to sing and share it to it leaking years later then being released officially so many albums down the line… It’s funny we all come up with these extra song titles we think sound Lana-like and then she makes a song simply called “Beautiful” ?
  13. Omg in her 2012 Beverly Hills gas station looks bag
  14. “You know I’m not that girl, you know I’ll never be”
  15. I fucking love Lana‼️‼️ I do not know a stronger willed artist someone who follows their path so resolutely. Who is all about the MUSIC and getting to the core of herself through her art. She is so different to everybody else and I’m so thankful for her.
  16. Wow she’s really putting 6 versions of The Blackest Day on this album? ?
  17. or missdaytona herself. and album trailer on UHaulJoe ?‍?
  18. I seriously don’t doubt it! It’s exactly what Stevie Nicks did a few years back for her 24 Karat Gold album ? “We went onto YouTube and we found all the songs that, somehow, were taken from my house or picked up or loaned out or whatever,” https://www.rollingstone.com/music/music-news/stevie-nicks-watched-youtube-videos-of-herself-for-new-album-243559/
  19. The way she played a LANA DEL REY UNRELEASED playlist on YouTube and thought oh I forgot about that one I’m gonna put it on the album
  20. Her biggest troll moment ever lmaoo she should have posted this immediately after the single covers
  21. Omg 2010: Broke, flop. Filming a music video in a suite in Vegas 2021: Rich, famous. Filming a music video in a budget Hilton
  22. Trash Magic

    Azealia Banks

Seeing her being celebrated so much on stage makes me so happy. I haven't stopped listening to her discography since fuck him all night dropped. When she comes back to the UK that'll be a bucket list gig for me. If she can keep this momentum to actually release an album mixtape etc or whatever it'd be so sick
  23. Referencing Video Games she seems to be reflecting a lot lately. Big shoes to fill Excited it's coming so soon
