The fact that the Grammys was even this year is wild to me. I really had to stop and think like.... ????
-
she is fucking INSANE
-
The other songs really grew on me. I made a cover for the album and for Hate Me. This photoshoot was so fucking good!! I think it totally fits the sunny pop rockish vibe of the music.
-
I'm really surprised at the pop rock direction of all the tracks. They all feel like a 2005 throwback. Hate Me and Angels Like You are the best the melodies are so great. I'm glad this leaked cause the other tracks aren't that strong and wouldn't make an impressive album imo.

Can anyone point me in the direction of the tracks it's so hard to find stuff online these days
-
Did the "I hope all of my friends get drunk and high" full song leak? That snippet sounded so good

I vote for leaving them untouched tbh, I don't think a forum is the best format for displaying/classifying lots of images and this platform will never be able to do it as well as the wikia with tabs and notes on images. Plus it would be sad to delete the threads with comments reacting to the pics in real time as they were released. It's like losing a legacy

I remember staying up to catch this on TV and being so shocked at seeing her in a live setting for the first time ever

Minor General Questions that Don't Deserve Their Own Thread
Trash Magic replied to Monicker's topic in Lana Thoughts
She listed titles like G.B.A, Do U Luv Me Yet? etc... in a blog interview, whereas I don't believe Lana ever mentioned the title The Revenge of Lana Del Rey herself. Humblebrag I believe I was actually the first person to post about the title after finding the artwork concepts in stranger records' photobucket account. I actually consolidated a lot of different pieces of info that could relate to TROLDR 2 years ago and it paints a pretty strong picture of what it potentially could have been. Now I have nothing else to do during this pandemic I should finish it and publish it! -
Album should have come out by now. I loved She Is Coming and Slide Away so much last year. I have seen some accounts on twitter with outtakes from her latest promo shoot too and supposedly a bunch of fans have songs from the album

Norman Fucking Rockwell - Post-Release Discussion Thread + Poll
Trash Magic replied to Elle's topic in Post-Release Threads
It's so weird how the Submlime documentary Lana specifically recorded Doin' Time for has STILL not been publicly released... It only ever did film festival circuits (and received pretty poor reviews). I want to see it! -
This has to be the most entrancing albums for me in a long time. I have Faith, After Hours, Escape From LA and Snowchild on repeat atm but the whole album is so solid. The Hunter S Thompson and Ralph Steadman blueprint is fucking amazing OMFG. I don't think I've ever seen an artist push SO much merchandise too. I know it's the main way to get album sales these days but the quality of all the products is amazing, from the zine to the posters and the artwork on the shirts. Legend shit!!!!

I do not doubt this is true whatsoever, but you do not need to be a legitimate insider to conclude that after a publicised breakup a prolific artist whose work has always largely entered around the men in her life is working on new music about love and breakups and taking time for herself during a global pandemic where social distancing and self isolation is being practiced.

Her 13 yr old brother just posted the raw future nostalgia cover photo to his story and dua just reposted it LMAO. It always your own. I instantly recognised it was the raw pic.

I feel like this undoubtedly was the blueprint for Good In Bed but instead of being good it's very very bad

last two tracks sound like she's trying to a get the Grammy Award for Best Comedy Album Don't Start Now remains the best song from the past like 2 years. TBH I've not really enjoyed much at all musically from the album expect Don't Start Now. Everything is too like corny and camp but I can appreciate the notion of doing something so against what is popular in music right now without actually enjoying it and her taking a theme and really running with it. There's certainly no Lost In Your Light on here (which I think has stood the test of time to be the best track on Dua Lipa next to Be The One)

Why is she not using this opportunity to post anything with the caption On lockdown like penitentiary?

Lana cancels EU/UK Leg of the Norman Fucking Rockwell Tour
Trash Magic replied to Elle's topic in Latest News
I'm going to try to have some empathy for her. We know how kind and forthcoming she has always been with her fans, so the decision to cancel an entire leg of a tour and disappoint around 125,000 people who support you cannot be easy. Also what happens to the crew that produce the show? She cannot control being ill. However hiding behind a press release and being completely silent regarding a cancellation that affects a show with not much more than 24 hours advance notice is not a good look. I had tickets to the London show and I'm pretty unfazed. Although Lana is my favourite artist and I have never seen her perform before, I would not expect this show to place within my top 5 concert experiences. Her shows appear to leave a lot to be desired. Plus I got off easy, I would have been at work all day the same as every other day then got the train shortly before the show and turned up just before. I feel bad for people who planned trips around her concert dates.- 469 replies
