I'm always here for new Lana music. It honestly doesn't matter how an album is received, we all know most of her albums take years to receive their flowers. It just is what it is. This album is definitely for the hardcore fans. It isn't an entry level Lana album.

I'm going to be in the LDR10 Pre-Release Thread saying "Get ready for some beautiful piano ballads!" on every page just to remind y'all of what it really is.

Sputnik is a reactionary reviewer. They hate Lana, always have, so they only review her albums to bring down her score. Chemtrails was at an 85 before their 30/100 score sent her to 81. That's why a higher base score is nice to have since the reason they review her is solely to tank her.

What upsets me is the idea of putting a bunch of critics in a room together for 80 minutes to listen to the album. This album should be listened to alone, a couple times at least, with full focus. People leaving the room and missing full songs to write a review after one listen is a total joke.

Popmatters, A.V. Club, AllMusic, Consequence, and Slant are most weighted for MC, I believe. Those are the really important ones.

I don't really listen to Paradise much anymore, but that's it. Genuinely sad to see White Dress mentioned so much, I think if you've only listened to it once or twice you never really gave it a chance. I'm only defensive because it's easily Top 10 Lana for me.
