  1. http://www.rockcandysweet.com/ It's bullshit, sadly
  2. I'm hoping the energy of this album is a mix of Catch & Release, Venice Bitch, Flipside, and Pretty When You Cry. Darker, longer, guitar-heavy, catchy, colorful psychedelic-infused rock jams.
  3. Two thoughts: Dying for an album heavy w/ Blake & The breakdowns in the Instagram Updates thread are a lot this morning, lol.
  4. Do you know who you stan? Seriously asking
  5. I agree - I don't find any of it on this album, save for maybe the second verse of NAWWAL. I think it'll all be addressed (or, should I say, directly confronted) on Rock Candy Sweet.
  6. Can we get someone @ Spotify or on Lana's team to fix the Spotify files? The Yosemite situation is so annoying.
  7. I don't buy the quick turnaround means she doesn't like Chemtrails. She could have simply shelved the album if Rock Candy Sweet was already in the works and she didn't want to release it. I think she was just very inspired/fueled by her controversies last year (and even at the start of this year). By the time all of that happened, Chemtrails was already pretty much complete, and Jack was too busy with Taylor and other projects to return and expand on it anymore, so she had two separate projects in the end. Lana's always had a complicated relationship with her own work, and Jack said Chemtrails is his favorite album they've done together. So two albums for us this year - despite all the delays and bullshit, we're very lucky!
  8. Well, we know: - COCC was finished last summer. Around that time she already had Dealer and wasn't sure whether she'd put it on COCC or not. - In November, she tweeted she was currently working on two albums. - In January, she gave the Music Weekly interview that was published this month, where she already had an album title in mind that summed up "the last 18 months" (Rock Candy Sweet). Her managers confirmed she was working on two albums then, too, but we all found this out just a few days ago. - In January, after the Annie Mac interview, she said a few days after giving the Music Weekly interview that she already knew what she was doing next. - Last month, she and her brother both posted 'rock' emojis before deleting. - She announced the new album today. So as far as we know, it could have been in the works as early as Summer 2020, and will be released around a year later, but now only a few months after COCC. I'm not going to read into deleting the (messy) IG stories as long as the announcement post itself is still up. Tap Music liked the IG post, too, so they know about the album.
  9. I definitely don't think June 1 is the date. I wonder if she thinks albums are still released on Tuesdays? Maybe June 4th, as that's the closest Friday. But honestly, I'd be perfectly fine with a late summer release, too. Getting two albums from Lana in one year, we'd be completely spoiled. We just got a brand new album, so I'll stay fed until it comes. Just thankful we have such a prolific, passionate fave. To think that last week we were all slightly worried she was going on hiatus for a few years!
  10. This is a good point. I was angry about the Sputnik trolling, but only because nothing about her social media drama had anything to do with Chemtrails. I hate to put it this way, but perhaps she was treating Chemtrails as a sort of sacrificial album, expecting it to get torn apart by the critics due to her controversies and then blast into Rock Candy Sweet to move on for it? It really is surprising Chemtrails has been met with the acclaim it has. But yeah, it seems like she's been prepping this new album for a while, and if she's really going for the jugular like she seems to be, I won't even bother looking at the MC page when it's released because the vibe is gonna be caliente.
  11. I loved this. I just hope that if she goes all out with this angry, cleansing album, she really goes for it. Like, I want this album to be her exorcism. Her Yeezus. I want her to fuck me all the way up.
  12. Yeah, whenever I had rock candy growing up it would be pink or blue or white colored and eaten off a stick. It's just crystallized, hard sugar.
  13. What's she going to talk about now? Lana failing to address global warming in Yosemite? Rejecting to address the dangers of over-exercise in Dance Till We Die? Can't wait for more shitty journalism.
  14. Damn... Plus the controversies she's had over the past 18 months, including that "Fuck you" video in January... I'm ready for her full fledged, chaotic, rock energy. This is going to be her Yeezus. And even if it bombs critically, she still has the universally acclaimed Chemtrails to fall back on. Bloop!
  15. I'm literally shaking, guys, wtf She really said "I'm here for war" Well, I guess if she's gonna floor it, then let's floor it...
  16. Oh, Dealer is on here CONFIRMED. Rock album CONFIRMED. I'm crying. This is going to be insane. She gives zero fucks, my God...
  17. Omg. You guys. I just saw the IG stories without knowing a SINGLE thing else. I thought this was going to be the country thing. Fuck. Here we go...
  18. Wait. I just woke up from a nap. what the fuck is Rock Candy Sweet. I hate her.
  19. summmmmerrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr ....................................... sizzlinnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnngggggg .................................... .. . . . .
  20. I don't really like the title Wanderlust, it's too Taylor-esque for me, Not All Who Wander Are Lost is better, besides... it still incorporates "Wander Lost" into the title.
  21. We'll survive if the review gets included, like I said it'll still be 81+, but I'm just not here for obvious bullshit, lol - if I can spend 10 minutes trying to shut it down then whatevs
  22. One is describing pure sales (physical, iTunes) and the second one includes Streams. If y'all haven't bought the album, you really should now. Still a good debut but she won't be seeing 100K at this rate.
