Nectar of the Gods Ave Maria Crazy For You Some unknown unreleased songs they were listening to earlier this year (a few months back?)... + Thunder, Cherry Blossom... would be 5 of our 6. I wish Yes to Heaven would make an album - I think it's such a beautiful song.

Angels Forever, Pawn Shop Blues, Life Is Beautiful, or her cover of Some Things Last a Long Time would be nice, but I doubt any of them will.

This is completely presumptuous of me based on the info we've gotten, but... The only thing that's a little weird to me about any of it is including *actual recordings* from, say, 2014-2016 on an album released in 2021. I sort of feel like if you're going to repurpose old songs (which isn't an issue at all to me), you should at least re-record them to make them fit the overall sound/production of the album. I'm not sure anyone could tell with Yosemite, but it was sort of weird to me, knowing that recording was from years earlier. I just hope it all makes sense when we hear the album as a whole. I trust Lana, though. And fans listening to unauthorized leaks isn't her problem, either. If she thinks an older unreleased song fits the album's vibe, it's her creative decision. It's still her song, in every way.

I don't see how any of us can be mad when Lana's giving us two albums in one year, and our understanding that whatever she serves us is 100% what she wanted and chose for that album. I've never burned myself out on leaks, so whatever we get will sound pretty fresh to me, anyway.

He clarified he didn't actually know if all 6 were "outtakes"/old songs or not. And the only actual ones we know are on the album are Thunder and Cherry Blossom.

No tracklisting. There's "a bit more" than 11 songs on the album, whatever that means, guessing 13-14? I'm just hoping that he;s giving us info because an announcement/pre-order or something is on the way soon.

Pretty sure Lana might have an idea for her own album, of entirely self-written songs, that she put together, and sequenced, regardless of when they were written. No one’s forcing her to put out a second album in a year. No one told her to put more than 11 tracks on it. It’s not like she’s trying to get out of a contract. She does what she wants to do. Other artists like Bruce Springsteen and Prince used to repurpose older tracks they wrote all the time. I’m sure other artists nowadays do, too — they just don’t have insiders with a weird hateboner for Lana trying to spoil the excitement for already hard-to-impress fans. Weren’t you all thrilled to get Thunder and Cherry Blossom, anyway? The negativity is exhausting. At the end of the day, we’re spoiled — we really are. And I’m very excited for the album, I’m sure it’ll be great.

Honestly, if a Dua stan hates the album, that just means I'm going to love it. Bring it, Lana.

I have a feeling she's only recently finished or is finishing the album, and I'd imagine her team would want to capitalize on vinyl since she doesn't do any traditional promo. The problem with that is the pressing plants are all backed up between 3-6 months, so depending on how quickly they can press vinyl, I'd imagine the album anywhere between November-February (if she finishes this month), with a single next month at the earliest, or October. Just my guess, though.

No. I was under the impression a lot of her recent music was either about him or alluded to him/their relationship (Text Book, Blue Banisters, Tulsa Jesus Freak, LMLYLAW, Not All Who Wander Are Lost, Breaking Up Slowly, etc)... It seemed pretty obvious to me, but maybe I'm mistaken. Happy to be wrong, but that’s just how I read into things.
