  1. No tracklisting. There's "a bit more" than 11 songs on the album, whatever that means, guessing 13-14? I'm just hoping that he;s giving us info because an announcement/pre-order or something is on the way soon.
  2. They will. I want the longest... slowest... piano ballad she's ever made on this album.
  3. I was reading Slim Adams, when I got to thinking, that I thought,
  4. Maybeeeeee……… I’d be less stressed if I was tested less like,
  5. Pretty sure Lana might have an idea for her own album, of entirely self-written songs, that she put together, and sequenced, regardless of when they were written. No one’s forcing her to put out a second album in a year. No one told her to put more than 11 tracks on it. It’s not like she’s trying to get out of a contract. She does what she wants to do. Other artists like Bruce Springsteen and Prince used to repurpose older tracks they wrote all the time. I’m sure other artists nowadays do, too — they just don’t have insiders with a weird hateboner for Lana trying to spoil the excitement for already hard-to-impress fans. Weren’t you all thrilled to get Thunder and Cherry Blossom, anyway? The negativity is exhausting. At the end of the day, we’re spoiled — we really are. And I’m very excited for the album, I’m sure it’ll be great.
  6. Honestly, if a Dua stan hates the album, that just means I'm going to love it. Bring it, Lana.
  7. I honestly can't wait for Arcadia. That snippet is magic to my ears.

Yeah, California seems to have a different mix, too. The beat has more bass added to it?

Jack's yelling of 'marijuana' and 'cocaine' was removed from Dominos on streaming, and made it boring.

    My fave along w/ California.

  12. I have a feeling she's only recently finished or is finishing the album, and I'd imagine her team would want to capitalize on vinyl since she doesn't do any traditional promo. The problem with that is the pressing plants are all backed up between 3-6 months, so depending on how quickly they can press vinyl, I'd imagine the album anywhere between November-February (if she finishes this month), with a single next month at the earliest, or October. Just my guess, though.
  13. No. I was under the impression a lot of her recent music was either about him or alluded to him/their relationship (Text Book, Blue Banisters, Tulsa Jesus Freak, LMLYLAW, Not All Who Wander Are Lost, Breaking Up Slowly, etc)... It seemed pretty obvious to me, but maybe I'm mistaken. Happy to be wrong, but that’s just how I read into things.

This is so NFR sounding it hurts, but that's probably why I love it.
  15. I have to say, I'm loving this soft pastel yellow '70s vibe. And her piano ballads are always best with a bit of reverb, IMO. She's serving a little Kate Bush, a little Weyes, a little Have You In My Wilderness Julia Holter and I am so into it.
  16. The way I've already replayed the snippet 100x. And the album cover is her best ever. WHEW!
  17. She also liked some birthday tweets on June 21 referencing the album being released on July 4. But... Who knows.
  18. I wish we knew the lyric about "don't want a legacy [???]"
  19. I feel like these 3 songs are varied enough sonically, so I hope she gives us a 14 track album that we can get completely lost in. Chemtrails was a total *mood* album like Honeymoon that benefited from being 11 tracks. Whatever this album is already seems so different, like she’s doing whatever she wants to stylistically and just purging her thoughts/emotions into 5 minutes with each song. At this point, I think she should continue going down the rabbit hole and do whatever the fuck she wants. Dealer with screaming, a little 6 minute spoken word track over ambient synths or multiple tempo changes, a 2 minute country bop… Just give us something wild and complex since you seem to be hinting at it, Queen.
  20. Blue Banisters hits just as hard as White Dress. And that’s the tea.
  21. Yes! It's my favorite album of the year so far along with Chemtrails. And agreed, the run from Somebody Like Me to Candy Darling is absolute perfection.
