I'm not offended by that review. It's pretty transparent when there's only one glaringly negative review, and it's written by a RYM user, on a site no one really cares about, who looks like this: It's just all rather... obvious. Sputnik could give Lana a 0 and she'd still be in Universal Acclaim on Metacritic. It doesn't matter. And I'm pretty sure him scrubbing his own photos from the internet prior to posting the review has nothing to do with his review, lol.

This song feels like the midwestern core of the album - soaked in sunshine, driving on a long, sprawling, lazy highway with your man, to who knows where in the heartland. The bass and guitar combo here remind me of The Velvet Underground or Spacemen 3. A nice, laid back song that means more to the album than I think people realize. It's all about embracing the journey in this one.

Favorite song on the album. I still stand by my thought that the chorus sounds anthemic in a deconstructed Springsteen way - it takes me back to how he would form a song into something hopeful and resolute. The verses are full of character, the bridge is THAT bridge, the horns are gorgeous... Idk. I know this one's already being overlooked, but I think it's so important to the album.

Breaking Up Slowly w/ Nikki Lane

Yeah, the final production on this made it a smash for me. The dark, smoky, bluesy feel to it really works. -
yesssss. My favorite moments on the album: - White Dress: The second verse, the vape noise, the drumsticks being put down at the end - Chemtrails Over the Country Club: The guitars growing in the mix in the bridge, the drum solo at the end - Tulsa Jesus Freak: The random talking in the second half of the song, the intensity of the drums in the last hook - Let Me Love You Like A Woman: "And I want (need) you to come", the second verse in general - Wild at Heart: The second verse , the harmonies at the end - Dark But Just a Game: The section between the first chorus and second verse - Not All Who Wander Are Lost: The random cuts of Jack talking, the guitar and bass riffing off each other, the bridge - Yosemite: The chorus! (And the switch-up on the last chorus/end of the song) - Breaking Up Slowly: Love when they sing together on the chorus. They sound good together. - Dance 'Til We Die: All of it. It's so beautiful. My favorite song on the album along with White Dress. - For Free: Lana's part, of course. But the instrumental is really well done, too.

Oh yeah, that makes sense! My bad. All I order is the music stuff, I decided I didn't need any of the merch, but I totally get it you're getting a few things. -

Not a huge fan of the transparent vinyl, personally. The beige looks interesting... I should get mine today. Grey and yellow are my favorites so far, although I've ordered everything. Also, you can save like $10 off your order buying the Neil PD from Universal and not the Village! -
