  1. I'm never going to rebuke tidbits of information, but we're basically getting an album's description in details and it leaves little to no place for surprise at this point lmao.
  2. I kinda wish people would stop being like ''if you hated that or that album you will love this one'' that shit's just unnecessary. Like can we just take the album as it is, hear it for the first time and form an opinion to see where the it fits with her other album before jumping to conclusions? That's just presumptuous. Like even if an insider would come out of the woodwork and say like ''If you didn't like NFR, you will love this'' I'd be like ''why are you even telling me this? ''
  3. People have been claiming songs since the tracklist got out and are already making an opinion of them through the insiders' POV. It ain't happening.
  4. It's not farfetched to think that both songs we've heard so far are amazing in their respective way, but they do explore a similar sound (not completely) than what we've heard on both NFR & Chemtrails? One can still be looking forward to hearing the new album, but it's not crazy to be like ''well this is going to be in a similar vein'' or that it's the natural evolution from that sound.
  5. So far it's reading more like something halfway between NFR and Blue Banisters, with some trap beats elements.
  6. Ranking shmanking, please be forthcoming about things and refrain yourself from being cryptic, or forever hold thy peace. Thank you.
  7. I cannot wait until some wacky university adds a LanaBoards course to its curriculum.
  8. I would feel bad for Lana if the album would leak that far in advance, but would I be disappointed for us if it did?
  9. So basically we have to form our own opinions and stop acting like insiders aren't describing music in the most subjective way, according to their own personal taste.
  10. March appears to be, yet again, the messiest, most delusional month of the year and I'm here for it.
  11. Wasn't planning on doing that anyway, esecially not after the tepid Florals for Spring song.
  12. It's the way they delayed the release, but there were apparently no delay in vinyl production so record stores are actually receiving the album in time for the inital release date--the mess that's about to unfold in the next couple of days. They're fucking up big time.
  13. As the prophecy foretold, the album shall leak before the sun rises on March 10th.
  14. 1. Ultraviolence 7.1 2. Lonerism - Tame Impala 9.0 3. Rumours - Fleetwood Mac 10 4. Breakfast in America - Supertramp Not rated 5. Harmonium - Harmonium Not rated
  15. Money and when I actually think it's cute and/or wearable.
  16. Honestly, I love that Lana feels confident enough to share her inner thoughts in her music, but with the Billboard interview, it kinda rubs me the wrong way how she basically said it'd be easy for her to make bombastic music again, but she'd rather make these conversational/stream of consciousness slower/longer piece--and she's entitled to make the music she wants, cause there are pros and cons on each end, but I think she could find a balance to make both at once. To me, just because a song has more intricate lyrics, doesn't meant it's better sonically. Like A&W definitely mixes both aspects and that's great, love the song, love the vibe, love the production for the most part. But with a lot of her other songs, as a non-native English speaker, I'm always more drawn to the melodies & production upon the first listen and only really pay attention to the lyricism after a few beats. So I really do experience a disconnection with her material post-Rick Nowels and I find it hard to appreciate her work as quickly as I used to. Most of her newer songs for me nowadays are either growers, or I just don't really connect with them.
