  1. More or less merch related, but anyone who wasn't able to get ahold of an Interview magazine copy, run to your local Barnes & Noble tomorrow!
  2. I'm most curious about the interlude tbh, like it's clearly going to give very camp/unhinged vibes, very different from Burnt Norton.
  3. I think it's a natural human reaction to want one to appreciate something the same way you do, but art appreciation is very subjective, sooo...
  4. No bad blood, I wasn't being facetious. I think most everyone, including me, is super excited about this new single and for what's to come. But there is a place for people to share their so called "critical" opinions as well!
  5. Judging by a few comments here, and not even my own commentary this time around, that seems like an inaccurate conclusion. It's still a contentious point of discussion.
  6. Because this is LanaBoards.com and any discussion not praising Lana or Jack is deemed as hateful, repetitive and annoying, despite these sorts of discussions being just as valid as any other discussions. Now, don't confuse me for someone that has something negative to say about A&W, because I think it's a fantastic song, with a great production and a quite unusual and refreshing sound for Lana. But I'm so fucking over people glossing over discussions and getting in their feelings when other fans have something slightly negative, or critical, to say--which goes against the general love blanket and makes you feel like you have to watch every damn word you say on a discussion board.
  7. I just cannot wait until we get more pictures of the box set, because it looks thick. It reminds me of the Ultraviolence deluxe box set in terms of dimension. The past couple of box sets were kinda nice, but I prefer when artists put out a box set that can actually fit vinyl records.
  8. The song is really good and it already showcases the sound variety we'll hear on this album, but I do hope that the unintelligible delivery/vocal mixing is kept to a minimum on the rest of the record--deciphering lyrics can be fun, but it's even more fun hearing her beautiful voice & carefully crafted lyrics loud and clear.
  9. Honestly same, that song is so dry, it's not even a top 10 song
  10. This song is honestly thebomb.com, and like mark my word, this is a top tier Jack Antonoff produced track. However, I'm really not a fan of the inaudible/mumbly vocals; I understand that this was a deliberate choice on her end, but it kinda grinds my gears. The first half is sooo good, could've been even better than it actually is. But all in all, I'm perched.
  11. Brave of you to have a "negative" opinion about a newly released song, but I somewhat agree.
  12. Yeah Laura Sisk can't mix for shit, but it's actually not so bad on A&W, kinda wish the vocals were a tad clearer and louder in the first half of the song though. Still great regardless.
  13. It's the way it sounds absolutely nothing like the title track, the variety of sounds on that album sure is promising. I'm perched.
  14. I agree with this, you can definitely hear his signature sound, but this blows the vast majority or NFR & Chemtrails tracks out of the water. It's a very refreshing song by Lana's standards.
