  1. She looks so good, it's giving Ride music video + 70s Vegas wedding. Now we only need A&W to make this day truly iconique.

    Rihanna

I thought the performance was good, I think they chose songs on which she could do an easier/less elaborate choreography given her alleged pregancy, which is understandable. But the choice of songs was a bit underwhelming, kinda wish she had performed Love on the Brain and/or Shut Up And Drive--but overall it was okay/good, yet anticlimactic. This stage slayed hard though.
  3. I think it's the nicest item thus far, that and the lighter, but there is no way I'm paying 120$ for a polyester jacket.
  4. Hope there is more to come, the merch is cute although overpriced but I want some of that.
  5. You know people are bored and desperate for new music when they bring up decade old drama/criticism
  6. I think that's true, but I also think artists/management have a tiny bit of input in that as well--although they cannot foresee delay in vinyl production and whatnot.
  7. I think her day-to-day style kinda took a turn for the worse after 2017--her infamous Adidas phase.
  8. Songwriting wise... Get Free >>> hope Finally Gone is the burden of the Crowley way of being That comes from energies combined Like my part was I Was not discerning And you, as we found out Were not in your right mind There's no more chasing rainbows and hoping for an end to them Their arches are illusions, solid at first glance But then you try to touch them There's nothing to hold on to The colours used to lure you in And put you in a trance That part is hands down some of the best songwriting in her entire discography.
  9. No, but it's her managers' job to build momentum around the release of her album, and right now there is next to none outside of LanaBoards.com
  10. The best version of this song and also her artistic peak
  11. I'm in my Wizard of Oz era, the part where Dorothy lands in Munchinkland is probably my favourite in the entire movie.
  12. One of my favourites from the movie
  13. I don't like NFR, but it didn't feel like it lacked authenticity to me. I just think that besides Venice Bitch, which is a career defining song by all means, the rest of the album felt wishy-washy sonically. Also, I'm kinda over people acting like longer/wordier lines are automatically better than short or repetitive ones in terms of songwriting. I'd rather hear Lana say she's a sad girl on a continuous loop, than hearing her say that she's got fucked so good she almost said "I love you", or sing about her babies on the tourlyfe. I don't think any of her records lack authenticity, they just all belong in a very specific time and place in her life and her career as a singer songwriter--to the exception of Chemtrails and Blue Banisters who, by all means are good records, but they read more like half-albums or mixtapes. It is my belief that her first three records are her most iconique. Born to Die put her on the map, she cemented herself as a multifaceted and growing artist on Ultraviolence, and Honeymoon was her consecration.
