I just think the video is cute, it has nice visuals but Ride and Shades of Cool have a pretty tight storytelling and they're visually more interesting, and story wise they're more emotionally harrowing.

There is no drama when it's fully deserved and Honeymoon being a runner-up, or had Honeymoon won and Ultraviolence been the runner up it would've still been valid.

Okay I'm beyond HAPPY for Ride, but how come Shades of Cool is not a runner up for best video???

A loss for the culture. Venice Bitch I love you, but you do not have two tempo shifts, Kill Bill sirens and Lana's ethereal backing vocals. You're an almost 10 minutes long masterpiece, but West Coast manages to slay you under five 4 minutes and 17 seconds and that's that on that!

It was a very interesting dive into the Lana lore, but all in all, the whole thing was rather shortlived. We were sort of over it like 3-4 days after BoZ spilled a decade's worth of tea.
