  1. IYLDWM, BBS & Violet for Roses are amazing; also as much as I think that Beautiful & Arcadia are boring, the piano and overall instrumentation is top notch. I think it's a win. Wish it were Gabe Simon or Zach Dawes though. I think Jack is a good co-producer so this is might be a good recipe we'll see. I'm perched.
  2. and you just added one with that terrible gif, thanks for adding one more turd to the pool
  3. Perhaps Jack is merely sitting in the co-producer's chair, which is actually where he should be.
  4. Well, maybe not all is lost for LDR9 after all.
  5. She's living her best life and she look amazing
  6. Not for nothing, I think it's very corny in 2022 to release a song on a very specific medium and on that very specific medium only
  7. West Coast

    Madonna

This was her peak. That performance/rendition of Erotica lives forever rent free in my mind.
  8. Yeah I know she did just that on BB & her Summertime cover, I was referring ot the hiccup before that.
  9. Why doesn't Lana give us them vocals and that kind of production on her own stupid albums This is just so good. I love everything on Buddy's Rendezvous.
  10. I wish Jack never used the word "bombastic". He cast a spell on LanaBoards when he did that.
  11. I want this album to be amazing, I want Jack to come through with the best production we've heard, but most of all I want Lana to stop self-sabotaging like I know only her can. Make some blustering & energetic music again, enough with the ambient & tone down songs. I want fire & glitter ma'am, no more pseudo-hypster coffee shop music.
  12. Mike Dean is a shady old broad and he doesn't give a damn
  13. either way her albums haven't been conceptual or that cohesive after Honeymoon.
  14. One day we'll have concrete proof that you're truly Jack in disguise, or that you're squatting Jack's basement
  15. Lana has not made a cohesive or so called conceptual album since Honeymoon. Everything after Honeymoon has been more or less a collection of songs she likes (judging by all the songs she mentions and eventually adds on the next album over and all the unreleased songs that we know of). Collaborating with Jack didn't help in that department either. I have been harsh towards him, that I know, but he has made great songs with her. I'm just over people putting up with her wanting to downplay everything, musically speaking. I just know Jack is that guy that when Lana says "can you make that part less intense/loud" or "make this and that instrument inaudible" or like "can you make the piano here sound as simplistic as possible", he's like "okay, Lana". Jack isn't a bad producer by any means, and I understand that artist don't necessarily want to make "bombastic music" all the time, but Lana's past three albums have been cute and nothing more (and I say this as someone that liked Chemtrails, but loved Blue Banisters) I'm checking out now.
  16. well let's stop talking about his overrated ass then
  17. Wouldn't that be awful
  18. This surely is shaping up to be an interesting era, the dramatics already
