  1. The woman can't even be bothered learning the words to her own songs and you expect ... a Grammys campaign?
  2. No, we're all wrong and Astral Brain is right. I LOVE being wrong, though, because this is far more entertaining than J*red's Jack Antonoff gifs.
  3. @@Astral Chain what are your thoughts on MAC (Melania's Apartment Complex)?
  4. I know. My opinion that it isn't about Trump is just crazy! Sorry that it's so unreasonable and far-fetched!
  5. As @@movebaby said a few pages ago, I think the NFR lovers are overestimating how much the NFR non-lovers care. The former seem to imagine that the latter lie awake at night, fuming about the posts on this thread, and shaking our fists in the darkness at the thought of other people enjoying NFR. Not accurate.
  6. Listen cupcake, if you can't grasp the difference between denying that a song is about Harvey Weinstein, and this song not being about Trump, then I don't know what to tell you. She had a relationship (of some sort) with Harvey. It's well-documented. He was later ousted as an abusive scumbag, which is why she denied that Cola was about him. NFR is blatantly, and obviously, about an ex-lover, or lovers. She said so herself, and the lyrics point to that. I mean, are you really suggesting that Trump "fucked her so good" that she almost said she loved him? And that he writes poetry? Just no.
  7. She literally said that it's about what I said. It's one of the few songs on NFR that she actually explained: https://www.nme.com/blogs/nme-blogs/lana-del-reys-new-album-everything-know-far-2379108 6'2 ... she either used it as a generic measure to indicate someone who's tall (which "6'2" is often used for), or someone's height in Google is out by an inch, which is likely. She has three or four exes who range in height from 6'1 - 6'4. Idk if you're trolling or not but this is killing me
  8. Sis, what? "You fucked me so good that I almost said I love you" It's about all of the artistically-inclined, egotistical men she's dated. Gerald, for example.
  9. Same. And I post on LanaBoreds with the knowledge that she doesn't give a single fuck what I or anyone else here thinks, so to suggest that anyone is trying to control her is a joke. In which galaxy does she care? Not the Milky Way galaxy. #galaxybrain
  10. Funnily enough your post seems full of projections ... just not those of others.
  11. Right? If you can ignore NFR's production flaws, then you can ignore posts. Keep scrolling.
  12. Same, except I don't feel bad, 'cos it's all her fault.
  13. Everyone: *hates the outro of TG* Jack Antonoff: “The end just went on forever.… We were, like, ‘What if we just keep saying things?’” https://www.latimes.com/entertainment-arts/music/story/2019-12-04/jack-antonoff-grammys-lana-del-rey-taylor-swift?utm_source=headtopics&utm_medium=news&utm_campaign=2019-12-05
  14. Yes, but most of the songs/albums charting atm have not been charting for 8 years, and saying it "aged like milk" when it's charted for so long is just laughable. It's obviously aged very well, because 8 years. Considering that it was her breakthrough album, I'm not surprised she wasn't 100% satisfied with it. I'm sure she saw it as a starting point from which to build from. I mean - you think NFR is great (don't you?) but not BTD? Each to their own, but
  15. No, you were right the first time. Aged like wine. Two words: still charting. Let's see if your beloved NFR is still charting in um ... 2027.
  16. I think DT is so high on so many people's lists because it was the first song we got in like 5 fucking months from her so we all went crazy streaming it. Not that it's a bad song, but yeah.
  17. You're just embarrassing yourself by calling a successful artist "dumb". All you do here is say the same shit and post the same gifs. Try being interesting instead of a bore.
  18. Can we not do that thing (again) where we try to masquerade opinions as facts, though? That has happened so much on this thread. We've established that the critical acclaim needs to be taken with a grain of salt, because these are the same critics who said all of her pre LFL albums were trash. Most of us wouldn't be here if we agreed with them. If you like it, you like it, and if you don't, you don't. It's in the eye ear of the beholder.
  19. She's said before that she "needs" intense but stormy relationships ... I can't remember if she said that in relation to writing, or just as a general statement, though. I'm not surprised that she isn't re-iterating it now because it's not really the type of thing you want to be saying in an interview when you're in a new relationship and your new partner is probably going to read said interview
  20. I think she was just explaining why she was in Oklahoma, but I do agree that, overall, she seems comfortable being more public about this relationship than the last one. Fuck knows why. Hard disagree.
  21. The Brit Marling part is the only part that didn't make me want to die. And that's all I'm gonna say.
  22. I'm usually asleep by the time it gets to the outro. <-- me snoring during the TG outro
