But we already knew China Palace was a fake ass attention seeker anyway but at least we have proof now. However I don't think we should drag him any further. He's been outed now -proven to be a liar countless times, a content thief of others work etc. He's reputation is stained and ruined now so that should be good enough for everyone.

HM along with PD is Lana's weakest records so far. Especially when I've recently been re-listening to UV and A.K.A. I can't describe it but I personally feel HM was rushed and put together rather sloppy-ish. There are some stand-out tracks (Even possible career highlights) like Blackest Day/GKIT/MTWBT but others like HBTB and the god awful DLMBM cover just ruin it for me tbh. I think its about time Lana part ways with Rick Nowels and other song-writers/producers that stick with the same shtick/methods. She should find new ones or others that she hasn't worked with in a while because it will bring some much needed vigor to her songwriting/albums....

Lana Del Rey Covers NME Magazine
Macintosh Manhattan replied to theeternalstars's topic in Latest News
Good news is that NME is a free magazine now but sadly you can only really get a copy at HMV or Topman stores. So not sure how someone outside the UK is going to get there copy... Anyway I'm gonna see if I can get a copy or two this friday... -

Madonna - Confessions On A Dancefloor Hung Up Sorry Get Together Jump COAD was a complete departure from American Life. With influences from 70's/80's disco and infused with modern day club music Madonna made an amazing come back with COAD proving to the world why she is the Queen of Pop again.

Lana Del Rey's ex-boyfriend has claimed that the singer failed to inform him of their split last year, saying that he instead learned that they had broken up via an interview. Barrie-James O'Neill, formerly of the band Kassidy, has told The Scottish Sun that the first he heard of the news was a text from his cousin which said: "Sorry that you and the missus have broken up." "I was like 'That's news to me – where did you hear that?' And it was on this website. I'm thinking it's a load of shit and gossip. But it wasn't. That's how I found out. "It all happened when I went to London, as she was staying for a few days," O'Neill added. "But she couldn't stay as she had to do a big interview in America for her new album which was coming out. I was just chilling out in the hotel and out the blue, I got a message." "She couldn't say it to my face but there's no bad blood between us," he continued. "Looking back, it was probably wasn't easy living with me – I'm an insomniac and I have depression. I understand why she did it." "I had saved up a bit but I felt like a burden on Lana – as she was having to take care of me. And I don't like that, I like to provide for myself. How I felt about the whole thing was, as her partner, I had to protect her. "When you go out with someone who has a bit of a profile, it's hard to not let things affect you. She'd phone me upset about something that had been written about her – that happened a lot in the beginning. It's a big difference comforting your girlfriend about her friend upsetting her, compared to the New York Times doing it. "It was weird. Most of the time, I was saying, 'What the fuck am I doing here?' But I tried to I think about being a protective boyfriend and making sure she got on stage every night." O'Neill is preparing his debut solo album 'Cold Coffee' for release. Meanwhile, Lana Del Rey is again working with songwriter Justin Parker, who co-wrote her early hits 'Video Games', 'Born To Die' and 'National Anthem'. Parker – who has writing and production credits on Rihanna's 'Stay' and Bat For Lashes' 'Laura' – last worked with the singer in 2012 for her 'Paradise' EP. Having released two albums since their last collaboration (2014's 'Ultraviolence' and this year's 'Honeymoon'), Del Rey was recently pictured in the studio with Parker again. It is not yet known whether the pair worked on new music or if a possible collaboration will lead to any release. http://www.nme.com/news/lana-del-rey/89923

I was considering buying one this summer and posting a Selfie here as a joke but the only ones I could find in the shops were cheap plastic ones for £3.00 in Primark... Anyway it really depends on the person who's wearing them really. Like for instance I do love them especially if there actually made really well. However I would never actually wear -in a serious manner anyway- one because I fully know they would not suit me.

Maybe I guess.... She might include a live at ... DVD or even include the vinyl and target exclusive tracks too. She might do both of these things together in some sort of super deluxe edition even for Christmas but idk don't count on it.

Your Lana Opinions - Then vs. Now
Macintosh Manhattan replied to joshuasean2900's topic in Lana Thoughts
For a few weeks i thought HM was better than UV now i don't at all. UV (Until when ever her next record comes out) is her magnum opus. I don't honesty care that the UV era was messy BC the album itself made up for it so much in the long run. I used to not really care for A.K.A but now I need it my life tbh I love Brite Lights now mainly bc it reminds me of the sleazy clubs/pubs that are in my town and the people I see dropping out of them at three in the morning on the weekend. I use to hate it with a passion at one point -
Lana looks real cute and dainty in that beautiful white dress. The make up is nice to tbh

What would you change about Lana's albums/eras?
Macintosh Manhattan replied to GodBlessMe's topic in Lana Thoughts
A.K.A and BTD are perfect imo. However I wish UV had the full tracklist. Hopefully one day UV will be re-released as an anniversary edition (Along with the demos and the original version of UV of course-let me dream ) that includes ITH/Flipside. HM is the album I would change the most.So I'm going to list them - 1. The messy album artwork and visuals. I've grown use to it now but I still hate it so bloody much and its a shame that the original photo-shoot with Neil Krug wasn't used (Hopefully we will see most of it in the photo book that's in the HM boxset). The good sis Chuck can not take a good photo for shit tbh She has her odd moments of glory here and there but still the album cover is a prime example that you shouldn't involve your family in your work 2.HBTB should not of been the lead single at all - it shouldn't of been on the album . It should've of been either MTWBT,Freak or even Art Deco. 3. I feel that even the promo singles were off too with the exception of TLY. TBD, Salvatore and along with TLY would've been perfect and promoted the feel/sound of the album much better than the ones that were officially chosen. 4. The version of HM that was played when when Lana preformed at Maida Vale should've been the version that was on HM.
