The last tour Lana did she ended up being only four hours away from me but I couldn't go because I had exams I'm hoping that if she tours for this album, that won't happen to me. I just need the experience of getting to actually see her no matter how good or bad the performance itself is lol

It's been 7 days since Lana Del Rey deactivated her social media accounts. The Instagram Updates thread has turned to madness (more than usual)

I feel like some fans think that they're her promoter/manager, when at the end of the day, we're fans. We have no idea if or how Lana deactivating her social media will impact BB's sales, and even if it's negatively, I really don't think that Lana cares. Sure, she wants people to listen to it (ex: "listen to it like you listened to video games"), but there's a difference between wanting people to listen to/enjoy your music and wanting to get a #1 on the Billboard charts

For Chemtrails I think that TJF, Wild At Heart, DBJAG and Dance Til We Die would be fun live. For Blue Banisters, I'd probably want WW, Arcadia, Thunder, and maybe two of the songs we haven't heard yet like Black Bathing Suit and Sweet Carolina

A kitschy, country-rock inspired glam shoot with David LaChapelle would be so perfect for this era

Black Bathing suit is gonna be a sultry, country-rock inspired magnum opus that'll be released as a single with the video being a Freak sequel where Lana once again stars alongside Father John Misty

That's the general consensus right now. And I think it makes sense because what we have heard from insiders (or those who claim to be) about the song has all been really vague

I had a dream last night where I had pre-ordered the standard BB vinyl and it showed up two weeks before the album was supposed to release Here's to hoping something like that doesn't actually happen

Happy birthday, Honeymoon! What a beautiful body of work you are. Honeymoon was the first Lana album I really sat down and listened to in full, and it completely blew me away. I truly believe it's one of Lana's best. It somehow manages to be completely ahead of it's time while being an ode to an almost 60s-esque sort of sound space. My favorites are Swan Song, Honeymoon and Terrance Loves You.

The only artist I'm nervous is gonna release something at the same time as BB is Adele I've heard so many rumors about her possibly releasing her comeback album sometime in the next few months, and if she releases the week before or the same day as Lana, that's gonna be...interesting to say the least

It didn't actually leak, thank god I'm pretty sure an insider (it might have been Eclipse) said that nobody has that song so I don't see that one leaking before the album leaks

I already associate this album so autumn so heavily. I tend to assign each Lana album a season, and I think she picked the perfect date for BB's vibe. Here's what I think of for each album: Winter - Ultraviolence, Lust For Life Spring - Honeymoon, Chemtrails Summer - Norman, Paradise, AKA Autumn - Born To Die, Blue Banisters (although honestly you really could put every album under summer lol)

Blue Banisters being the album title makes a lot of sense when you listen to the song and the lyrics. They feel very representative of Lana's life/the place she's in right now. Plus, there's references to her family and friends in the song, which seems to make it special to her.
