I just wanna praise Sydney Sweeney's performance in the finale (and the whole season) for a second. Cassie is a character I find to be quite complex despite how awful she was this season, and Sydney did a fantastic job bringing that to life. I really think she's one of the best actors on the show. I just wish Sam would've been more interested in going into the complexities behind Cassie's attraction to Nate in regards to the issue we've known she's had for years

No offence but if Trash Magic and I Talk To Jesus don't end up somewhere in the top five, I don't trust anyone's taste on here anymore

Oddly enough, I feel like this could turn out to be quite accurate. I've said this before, but I think that Lana's idea of country is super different than what we might be thinking of when we think of country music. I know she really likes older country and folk music so I have a feeling that's more so where her inspiration lies

I'm just glad that that "spoiler" I read about Jules and Nate getting together wasn't true, I literally wouldn't have watched the show anymore if that happened. My main hope for season three is that a writers room happens because Sam proved that he can't remember half the shit that happens in his own show well enough to write on his own

Everyone complained about the NFR triple video and the Chemtrails/BB era homemade videos People were writing think pieces on why they were "unprofessional" lol Also, since it's being discussed, I associate Chemtrails with early spring. It's like I can smell the rain and the leaves regrowing when I hear it

I’m so excited to see what Lana does with this album visually, even if it’s just some cute little homemade videos (which I know nobody likes but I like them and idc). I don’t expect her to rush into this next era or anything especially since we got two albums in one year last year, but I’m looking forward to watching the era unfold whenever it does. Lana’s vibe lately has been so fun and I think that’ll be reflected in the music. Her energy always matches her work

I'm rereading The Perks of Being a Wallflower for what feels like the thousandth time. I first found the book on my 13th birthday and ever since I finished it about a week later, I've held it so close to my heart. I had never really related to a character before I found Charlie and it's my go-to book whenever I just need something to read (and don't even get me started on how much I love the movie)

I think that that's a sentiment people have felt throughout all of history. I've been thinking about the past as well. The world in general to me sometimes seems like one giant dark time. And I feel like the point of no return was past years and years ago (although that's just me lol) Dark times in our world have happened before and, sadly, will most likely continue to do so. But I try to remember that other people have felt this way too. It's not much in terms of helpfulness, but it's something.

What a lot of people need to learn is how to have empathy for situations that don't involve them specifically. Going online and shitposting about a situation that's literally killing people (especially if it's not actively hurting you) isn't okay in any form. All in all, I hope for what we all hope for: resolution and the smallest amount of casualties possible.

The amount of people on Twitter trolling about this and shit is so genuinely disturbing. The lengths people will go to for a fucking like on a tweet astounds me.

All of this is just so fucked up and scary. I don't wanna say that I can't believe something like this could still happen in 2022 because that wouldn't be true, but it's still a horrifying situation regardless.
