Lana Del Rey was interviewed by Hew Stephens today, in a secret posh hotel! They spoke about the Ride music video, which she revealed is 10 minutes long. They also spoke about the upcoming Paradise Edition, the H&M adverts, the Del Rey bag and her 8 track playlist, which consisted of Marina and the Diamonds! Listen to the interview below! Highlights include:
Lana revealed the ‘Ride’ music video will be 10 minutes long!
She revealed that she is a vegetarian!
She revealed that she has an 8 track playlist, consisting of Marina and the Diamonds ‘Teen Idle’
She also spoke about Fearne Cotton, and that she ‘drops her a text now and again’.
She also said that she says ‘trust no one, but doesn’t really mean it’

I have a sub-folder at my lobus titled "I know for a fact that..", backed up with myriad of web-bookmarks, and when things went unfold or new info/interview/songs/lyrics surfaced, things started to make sense sometimes, but most times there are too many gaps and missing links that a paleontologist can laugh at me; so much that there's this despair and need to communicate it to ones just as enthused on the matter; but to find such ones, takes so much time. Can't go round on a (careless) info-rampage, but it feels like the mouth is overloaded with conspiracy-theory vom. Why do I even spill my trust issues here.. pardon me *sashays to the blue dark corner*.

I don't think any songs were about Chris C.. I talked to him and he said she was his muse but it was never "like that".. I think he kind of was in lust with her and she just likes being adored by anyone

There's been a lot of drama over comments in status updates about the line "I'm a fan of pro-ana nation." I think it's an interesting subject, and would like to discuss it here, if we can avoid the drama.
 
While I agree with people critical of the line that it would be problematic if Lana were advocating anorexia, and I see the potential for anorexics to latch onto this, but I don't think that's what she's doing here. To the contrary. She's no more advocating anorexia than she is advocating drugs, drinking, getting beaten by someone with tats on his ass, or fucking your teachers. She's painting a picture of how fucked up she or other girls were in boarding school. The song is written from that perspective, but portrays that perspective as something fucked up.

Maybe discussing it via PM would be hm, idk.. a bit safer?
There was once this very disturbing piece of info (regardless the fact/fiction) that I shared to only one member, and decided never to post publicly :shrugs:
 
I understand and respect your decision Sitar, to post this--as I myself felt similar urges to let out what I had in mind and see what other people might think/add to it. I hope this thread fares well.
