  1. I doubt that "don't be that way" is the beginning of the song. Judging from the snippet we have, t sounds more like the second part of a verse and not the beginning of it.
  2. SO it's definitly "If you'll be by my side" and "like the winter we're not in" (it makes the most sense that way anyway)
  3. I just hope we'll get a full song soon. No matter if it's a single or promo track .. but i want something! I wasn't too excitedabout Life Is beautiful because it sounds like it could be from the Big Eyes/ I Can Fly session (and even though I like these songs as soundtrack songs, I don't need them on albums) But Honeymoon ... it sounds so great,
  4. I'd be perfectly alright with Nowels being a main producer. I think most of the songs he did with her are great. Heath .. I don't know. He's good for soundtrack music and "Orchestral Remixes" (Y&B, WC) but having more than 2 songs produced by him on a record ... no pls not. Because judging by his latest collabs with her, we'd get a monotonous record if he does too much.
  5. Haha, that's how I also "sang along" to the lyrics in my head when I read them. The chorus in the melody of "In Hollywood, in Hollywood, I'm alive again" and the verses in the melody of the MPG verses
  6. If she starts to do live acapella snippets, we can be QUITE sure that she'll release it soon. AND I HOPE WE'LL GET A HQ RECORDING OF FLORIDA KILOS, it sounds greeeeeat live.
  7. I'd say it sounds orchestrated but not in a common Dan Heath way ... Life is Beautiful could be a Dan Heath song, but honeymoon .. don#t know, sounds different.
  8. It really sounds and looks different. Cinematic, but without being a general Dan Heath thing. The vocals aren't as poppy as on BtD and not as dark as on UV. And it seems like HM could really have some tropical/holliday-esque vibe.
  9. Lana's recent appearances definitly are more "mature" and "classy", so I also doubt we'll get an album full of super-pop-y music. However, on the othe rhand, she's playing Serial Killer, Off To The Races and Us Against The World live recently, as well as having this tropical Sleepwalk-intro. I am sure that whatever she does will be beautiful, as long as she's at least evolving her style into SOME direction. Because doing the same stuff she already did on her previous albums would make her become more and more repetitive and boring. Oh, and I think you can be a very serious and mature artist/diva/whatever and still do TV and radio performances.
  10. I don#t think the lazy chorus of G&R is such a big deal. It may not appeal to everyone, but i still think it fits the song.
  11. It's called "auto tune" and I'm suprised she didn't wrote ALL of it herself, if she seriously has cowriters for " Stop ta-ta-talking that blah blah blah, think you'll be getting this nah nah nah" ..... Cruel World is a lyrical masterpiece compared to most of her stuff.
  12. Vintage Lana was really cool style-wise. The sound was iconic aswell, but I don't think I want her to go back there, at least not using the Lolita-in-the-hood/ Gangster Nancy Sinatra Style, as I feel like she exhausted this style/persona. If she does the vintage diva thing again, I'd hope for a more mature version (like the Another Man poster) Rock Lana ... I love the sound and the one Neil Krug photoshoot, but apart from this, this era didn't really have any consistent visuals, which was a huge let-down. Like, she could have rocked the vampire-princess style she had at the versace runway show or some more leather-jacket/flower dress outfits but she dropped this and just wore some strange summer-dresses.
  13. I'll be so disappointed if she doesn't premier anything new tomorrow, even though I reeeeally don't want to get any hopes up, as there is no evidence that she will do it.
  14. Why are you so offended? It's not s rumour, it was a speculation. I don't think it will happen but it's not like it would be something unusual for artists to not appear in a video. And "shooting with Lana" could mean she's just directing, she doesn't look like she was filmed herself in the few outtakes we have PLUS she talked about having a concrete vision about how she imagines the song's sound, which could also be a reason why she wouldn't star the video. but in the end, it was just a speculation someone made, noone claimed it would be like that. So I really don't know why you are getting so mad and aggressive about it
  15. She's not touring UV since she already dropped the record last year. The Endless Summer Tour is a "neutral" tour.
  16. It's not too likely that she'll put one of the unreleased ones on the record since she said her label was suprised by her performing them and that the band isn#t allowed to play HM songs live at the moment. However, she kept Serial Killer when she tok UATW and YCBTB from the playlist, she frequently performs it and it seems to be one of the current show-highlights, as it's also a fan favourite. So I guess it could be very likely that she'll put it on the record as a bonus track for the deluxe version or uses it as the Itunes/target/vinyl/whatever exclusive track. I wouldn#t get too many hopes up, but with this particular songs it seems more likely than with every other unreleased one.
  17. Especially because her latest efforts (Big Eyes, I Can Fly, Wait For Live and Life Is beautiful) doesn't really seem to be evolving. Of course they were soundtrack songs/not on her own record, but if she truely goes for this ethereal, orchestral and somehow half-assed music for a full record ... I don#t even want to think about it. I like these songs, but I am afraid of her doing this mediocre song-writing and executioning ....
  18. That's what I think aswell. She had a good start with Born To Die and Paradise. She changed things up a bit for Ultraviolence, however if she doesn't start to be a little bit more active regarding both the way she promotes herself (*Lana isn't one of these artists who needs to sell out replies incoming when I was actually refering to her caring about her fans and giving them something music-video/performance related*) and to explore further facets of her sound and lyrics, she'll become boring quite soon. O f course I love everything she does and of course she has her very own style which will always appear in her songs (I mean, it's something I love about her), however if she keeps pulling the same kind of atmosphere/sound forever, I doubt she will still have so many fans. Ultraviolence was a nice start, she should definitly take another step in this direction instead of going back to her first records sound when there is only one other album in between. Born To Die is great because it's what we fell in love with and it performed well because it was her breakthrough. Ultraviolence was "the second, more mature and rock-y album of this Lana Del Rey girl", which is why it still sold quite well even though she was super lazy during the era. But i doubt this will work with album number 3, considering both sales and the "magic of the music".
  19. All of you should calm down when it comes to Jazz music. It's a word she likes, like "electric" or "blue". She overuses it and unless we hear anything jazz-related I would NEVER EVER trust her when it comes to this description. I hope MTWBT will have a sound that#s similar to her current "Sleepwalk" intro ^^ the secondhand embarassment is strong with this one
  20. OMG I really hoped for this song title to be true. If it's really released this month ... would be great! I hope the models aren't just fishing for attention .... 21. It didn#t made it to the album? I've lost all the respect I had for them.
