  1. Can someone recap which lyric samples we've got and what she said about freak and GNIT
  2. So, no Itunes exclusive tracks, no Target exclusive tracks and no regional bonus tracks this time. Actually, this is nice, since it means we can get a "full" version of the album physically. Not being abel to have a 9-track Paradise CD and a 16 track UV CD is still kind of sad. The only bad thing about this is we won't get Life Is Beautiful ;(
  3. I agreee with you, it's nice that we'll be able to buy a COMPLETE physical album this time, like with Born To Die's Deluxe version. It always cracked me up there was no physical 9 track Paradise and 16 track Ultraviolence. The only sad thing is that this means we'll most likely never get Life Is Beautiful. _______ I'll never understand why the BtD cover gets so much praise. I mean, it's grown on all of us and now it's iconic, but in the end it's not a very good picture. The angle, the way she looks ... nah. And I don't get where the hate for the HM cover is coming from. Like, y'all are always so overdramatic.
  4. I like the Honeymoon album cover. maybe it would be better if it would be a little bit more cropped and without the font on the bus. but I think the Urban Outfiters cover for HM looks weird. The angle is so strange and the way the fon is put on it is extremely boring.
  5. Not realyl a big fan of TLY. Maybe it'll grow on me, but so far it's inferior to both Honeymoon and High By The Beach. Neither the lyrics, the song concept nor her vocal delivery are really that interesting for me. HOWEVER I lvoe the vibe the songs have so far.
  6. Hm ... Let me consider the track names first. "Religion" and "God Knows I Tried" sound awful, I don't want spiritual songs on there. But hey, maybe GKIT will be somewhat similar to Tired Of Singing The Blues and Religion coukd be a quite dark song which lyrics ar enot actualyl related to religion, but use religious metaphors(like National Anthem) "24" and "The Blackest Day" sound like your regular pop songs. "Art Decor" and "Freak" sound like Gaga songs, but they could have a lot of potential. "Salvatore" sounds like a song with a vibe of italian Gangster movies but it could also be corny as hell. I'm very happy "Music TO Wtach Boys To" and "Swan Song" are actually existing as song names. I REALLY hope we'll get Life Is Beautiful as a Target/deluxe/Itunes track though ....
  7. So the leak thing was definitly fake?
  8. The billboard pic is pretty good, I don't get your problem. Besides, I'd RATHER have the UV billboard being the cover of UV than the actual one, even though it grew on me.
  9. The song's pretty nice. I like the first two verses & chorus-es, the build up is nice, her vocals seem very mature and even if the lyrics and instrumental are a bit of a klischee, they work. However, after the second chorus it becomes too melodramatic, I think she definitly overdid that part.
  10. Sometimes, I'm not even sure if you are a troll. Even though you always boast with your musical knowledge, you don't know what a concept album is. Having songs that have good transitions towards each other is not a concept album, Having recurring lyrical themes is not making anything conceptual. If she didn't care for money she would not release music. You're always over-doing your praise for Lana. She is a great musician, but she does not have the impact of an Edith Piaf, nor will the GP claim that her album is one of the top albums of the decade.
  11. In The Cross would make me cringe the most. A Time For Searching and The Enegry of You sound like corny Phil Collins songs.
  12. I hope we get no super-religious songs, I hope MTWBT will actually be a song title and I really hope LiB will be somewhere on there :3
  13. Nah she didn't. I mean, I don't think that this will be the cover but if the picture was bith a billboard AND the cover, it would still be "two firtsts" for Chuck. However, I thought the UV billboard pic was shot by Chuck aswell?!? Nah she didn't. 14. Yeah, that's what I also thought. I really hope we'll get the full Billboard pic uncropped soon, it looks like a decent picture
  15. I think if we get the album cover and the tracklist, I will be satisfied. I won't preorder anything before I know about any kinds of exclusive bonus tracks though.
  16. Why do some people NEED to find something deep and surreal in everything? Some things are not like this and this goes for both the lazy try-hard-atmospherical Ultraviolence video and I'm pretty sure that even if HBTB has some kind of meaning behind it, there definitly IS a satirical part in it. Imagine if she really wanted to give us a video like this or something like Tropico in FULL sobriety .. it would be pathetic. A little bit of tongue-in-cheek is nothing unprofessional.
  17. It's so funny to read al lof this .. the video is supposed to be funny and NOT dramatic and plot heavy. It's not supposed to be "visually, sonically" etc it's supposed to be a cool, chill, strange and funny video and that#s what makes it so great.
  18. Noticed this aswell, but maybe the letter was typed by the same person who typed the Born To Die lyircs
  19. Come on, you can't compare Born To Die and Shades Of Cool, two videos that acutally tell a story and match visuals with the songs they belong to, with a video that is obviously meant to be funny, It's actually quite fitting for Lana to try to ignore the guys and then leash out at them in a way she leashes out at people on social media ... just .. physically.

  21. I like the video. The visuals are good and i love how it obviously doesn't try to be anything it isn't. Unlike Ultraviolence, which is so super tryhard-indie-simple-deep and Tropico, where i wasn't sure if she wanted it to be partly humorous or if she actually intended it to be taken as serious as some stans here do, HBTB is awesome in all it's strangeness and intended to be that way. The only thing I dislike is when the rebounds a few second. I see it's supposed to be a stylistic device but the way it's used is not really interesting.
  22. Would be cool if she did something "not very Lana" once, because recently, "Lana" videos weren't that exciting.
  23. That's exactly what makes it so interesting. If she really wanted to make this badass in a serious way, it would be comical in an unintended way.
