  1. All of you should calm down when it comes to Jazz music. It's a word she likes, like "electric" or "blue". She overuses it and unless we hear anything jazz-related I would NEVER EVER trust her when it comes to this description. I hope MTWBT will have a sound that#s similar to her current "Sleepwalk" intro ^^ the secondhand embarassment is strong with this one
  2. OMG I really hoped for this song title to be true. If it's really released this month ... would be great! I hope the models aren't just fishing for attention .... 3. It didn#t made it to the album? I've lost all the respect I had for them.
  4. I think you should know she will not do a 2hour set when you go to a Lana concert HOWEVER I think 13 songs are really not that much and they are not THAT long. They are longer than the average 3:40 songs but still ... I think at least 15 or 16 tracks would be appropriate, some people really paid alot for the show. If she's sooo anxious she wouldn't cgo and entertain the first row with selfies, let these hysterical teens screen at her and listen to their crystories for like 15 minutes of the performance. Everyone payed to be there and if she has enough guts to do these things, she should definitly perform a few more songs. People expecting her to put on the show of an entertainer are dumb, she's a singe rand her songs don'r require dancing choreos and costume changes. But still, a little bit more effort would be cool.
  5. Summertime Sadness, F*cked My Way Up To The Top and Blue Jeans sound great and black Beauty is also nice The West Coast and Meet Me In The Pale Moonlight mashups are quite good but I'm really not a big fan of the Florida Kilos one.
  6. I know you were, but if you're not careful, it will end up as a "rumour" on an eleven years old brat's blog
  7. Oh god, please don't start this " LANA ´MAY QUIT MUSIC!" thing all over again .. it's so tiring.
  8. Was there an official homemade vdeo for Off To The Races? Can it still be found somewhere?
  9. She has songs called "I Can Fly", "Fucked My Way Up To The Top" and "Diet Mountain Dew". Two of her best songs are called "Blue Jeans" and "Video Games". People want ongs to be released because they are called "Fine China", "Trans Am" or "Roses". So why the hell would you judge songs by their names?
  10. Everyone being so afraid of Life Is Beautiful. You all haven't even heard it in full. Apart from this, it could be the Old Mones or Bel Air of Honeymoon.
  11. So, this means we'll have As Far As i COuld Get in a HQ version soon?
  12. Uuuugh, I hate this ... like, if she told you not to conform the sing to the public, keep EVERYTHING to yourself. but no, these twattir-girls need to show off and tease everybody. Swan song could be a reat name for an outro though.
  13. So, the record is like I expected it to be. It's a lot better than Ceremonials in general, even though most of the songs don't really match the standard of Lungs. "Queen Of Peace" is gorgeous and "Ship To Wreck" and "What Kind Of Men" are beautiful songs with the ~Florence essence . "Long & Lost" and "Various Saints & Storms" are nice ballads which are not as overdone as the Ceremonials ones and "Make Up Your Mind" is a solid bonus track which could have easily replaced "Caught", a song which doesn't really have anything going on, on the standard version. Talking about bonus songs, "As Far As I Could Get" also sounds neat and I would have loved it to be a bonus track on the CD/download edition ... but maybe we'll get a decent rip soon. "How Big How Blue How Beautiful" is a worthy title track. "St. Jude", "Mother", "Hiding" and "Delliah" are nice songs, but unless they grow on me in the future I wouldn't consider them as very outstanding ones. "Third Eye" and "Which Witch", however, are both not really my cup of tea They feature this same awkward-personal-overdramatic feeling which made me dislike Ceremonials. They are so overdone and I think some smart instrumentallisation (the Third Eye demo's one is pretty neat) and a little less choir-esque vocals would have been better.
  14. It's a SPECULATION thread ... people who are whining about how messy it is all the time are the worst ones.
  15. Which songs? Any exclusive ones apart from As Far As I Could Get?
  16. Oh no, I hope this doesn#t mean we get BtD 2-0. Emile has PROVED that he is only capable of ONE sound with his own record and his production for The Neighborhood. I really LOVE Born To Die, but nah, I don't want a second record full of MJ-samples, string walls and Loons. And Dan Heath .. not really pleasuring aswell. He's not a bad producer, but having him on moret han one song could get veeery boooring really quick. I hope Ronson had a big impact on the record and thet Lana knew what she wanted. I'd also love to see Rick Nowels and Blake Stranathan Songs again ....
  17. I heard a studio version of HBHBHB was broadcasted somewhere ... is there a rip of it?
  18. How is performing in front of a few cameras "whoting out"?
  19. I don't care on how she does in the charts and of course I don't expect ANYTHING from her after the let-down of UV, but I don't understand why some people here act as if they appreaciate her lazyness and as if this would show how she's a more serious artist.
  20. Kill Kill is a gorgeous track, but somehow it doesn't feel like it's a special opener. It's one of many tracks on AKA which is placed as the first one. Maybe it's the best option on AKA, but .. yeah, for me it doesn't have any big opener qualities. Ride with it's breeze-opening and the build-up during the song is a good opener but Cruel World has the strongest opener.qualities, since it's mainly a vibe ...a vibe that goes on for 6 minutes, without anything new happening. But yeah, it sets the dark, guitar heavy and somehow coastal vibe for Ultraviolence. However, the best one in my opinion is Born To Die. It's the Lana-Del-Rey-Anthem, it's dramatic, it has this big string-opening and the dark-lyrics. The topic and the composition of the song are giving an idea of what the album will sound and feel like, but still the song is outstanding and unique on the record.
  21. Well, if you are all fine with the situation we had with Ultraviolence because it makes you feel indy or like you would listen to "more serious music", you can have your way. I'd prefer HQ performances on the radio and TV and some musicvideos with high quality (and I'm not talking about big budget, but about videos which aren't superlazy wannabe-deep videos like the Ultraviolence one)
  22. Yeah, I really really really hope the intro will be an indicator for the sound of the new record
  23. A performance is a performance. of course she doesn't need to wear a BUY MY ALBUM shirt but I think the thing she pulled of with UV was disrespectful towards the fans. 24. Because an album is so much more fun when there are no music videos or performances on TV/Radio. I'll never get people like you. Promo isn't just something you do for sales, it's also something which delivers a lot of cool stuff to your fanbase.
