  1. Eeeeeew. First she collabs with the castrato-Weekend-guy and now those basic af showoff-gurls from Disney Channel.
  2. Pawlow would love this thread. As soon as she drops a new snippet you all start to drool over a possible repease although this "era" should have taught you it means NOTHING (see Happiness Is A Butterfly. See Cinnamon. See How To Disappear. See In Your Car)
  3. she just felt cute and wanted to post something. Nothing new is going to be released
  4. The piano sounds a bit like a Fiona Apple song. Also the "your poetry's bad" line confirms she's playing a character with this terrible, cringy book she's been teasing
  5. Who cares for what she's wearing in her spare time. All I want is the MUSIC
  6. Interview news don't mean bs anyway. Remember her hyping up Yosemite in EVERY FUCKING interview prior to LFL?
  7. Born To Die - Born To Die Every aspect of that albums vibe and production is represented by its title track: dramatic lyrics about love and death, vintage-vibe vocals, atmospheric hip hop drums, samples, big walls of strings with a few guitar chords peaking out here and there - truly an iconic track. Paradise - Ride Ultraviolence - Shades Of Cool Honeymoon - Honeymoon or Salvatore Lust For Life - it's to much of a messy wreck. Probably Get Free
  8. Moby is a wonderful musician - would have been a better pick than G-Easy and Barrie from that perspective
  9. Lol, did you read the lyrics you were shouting along at the concert? If you believed she was LITERALLY doing ALL OF THIS STUFF then that's really your fault. Maybe stop projecting whatever kind of bad energies you have into this. Songwriters have been mixing up stories and personal experiences for-literally-ever. Otherwise, lyrics would be pretty dull. Wow, what a limited and narrow-minded opinion on art and songwriting.
  10. Not sone of y'all getting mad because you noticed that all the dramatic stories from her songs might be autobiographic Writing stories is a big part of being a songwriter, where the hell have you been living?
  11. Madonna should FINALLY retire. The Prayer-performance was mediocre at best and the new song is the definition of trash
  12. quantity does not equal quality. There are super long albums that are extremely well done, but just having more tracks for the sake of it is a self fullfilling prophecy for an incoherent, messy abum full of fillers. I'd rather have 11 tracks that I never grow tired of listening to, with lots of nuances to dicover than a 20 track record where I skip 10 songs after listening to them twice.
  13. I really dislike the intro-chorus of the song. It sounds pretty weird and I was afraid it would be basic pop song for a moment.. However, the track really improves a lot after that - I like the verses (especially the second one), the percussion is nice and the chorus sounds much better with its proper production. Could really see this being a hot tune on the radio.
  14. Everyone "loving" the cover deserves the full boringness of the NFR era
  15. Yeah bc f*ck discussions. A good thread on a discussion board should be full of "I want Cinnamon sooo much" and "Close this thread"-oneliners only. Not that we wouldn't have enough of those either way.
  16. Eh .. not too keen for that. And if she'd ever decide to sing it live it would be an OTTR mess. She already had trouble lipsincing it lol.
  17. You know ... NORMAL people outside of stan-forums usually listen to music because of ... well, the music and not because they are obsessed with a person. So even if you have been a fan of an artists past work, you still have every right to not like an album for what it is - music
  18. OMG GUYS She just announced another EP! It's called "Stay on Your Mind! and will be out on the second of August! The lead-single is called "Vacation with Bond in South of France, Pt. 2". “I’ve always been inspired by early Bond movie theme music, so I wrote a synopsis for a Bond movie that never existed. The movie begins at a space station in the late ’60s where people (the bad guys) are doing experiments on space monkeys and then a lot of action plays out that I can’t reveal, though one thing I can say is that Bond goes on vacation to France two times in the film. I wrote all the music for this fake Bond movie but this is the only track that made it on this EP, which is about Bond’s 2nd trip to south of France.” Other tracks included on the EP are "The Idiot" and "Subway Madness", songs which demos she had postet on her social media in the past year.
  19. Why the hell do people think it's okay to harass a guy because he is seemingly dating Lana. Get a life
  20. HiaB always sounded like one of the least interesting tracks tbh. The chorus seems extremely dull and basic. Don't know why people are so crazy about it. Cinnamon, In Your Car and the snippet-without-a-name all sound so much better.
  21. Lol really? They seem like she just makes them up while singing. The song itself is nice but the lyrics are tragic and cringy af.
  22. The poetry book is the worst thing that could have happened to us. It postpines the album, Lana seems to only care for it over NFR and the poems are bad anyway
  23. So .... she's gone for three more years again? What a shame. DL is so good
  24. I'd love a textless cover like that! There is one full-body-pic from Neils LFL shoot with her leaning against a white wall in a green dress. That would have been a perfect textless cover
