I wasn't defending her lack of promo for UV, it was messy. and I know that she did care and did good promo for BTD. Idk i think i just wanted to make the statement that people should not expect BTD numbers with the HM era.

People make UV's sales worse than they seem. 1mil is not bad, but compared to BTD's 5 million you could say it's not that good. But she will never top BTD's sales. There was so much hype revolving around the release of BTD that she can't recreate, all the controversy of her authenticity, SNL(bad publicity is STILL publicity) and no one out there at the time really had the same sound. Now a lot of people kind of "copied" or adopted her sound (hi Sam smith! and others)

Avalanche is a beautiful song. Idk if it get released when LB was down but it's sooooo good

Wildflower is my favorite at the moment.

The original new americana sampled Juicy by B.I.G. And I think a few others on Badlands use samples. The way she acts to using samples is very poor too, she practically attacks fans defending her point and saying she knows much more about the music industry than they do etc. Saying that sampling is ethical because the original artist gets money (idk if you've caught on yet but I'm not a big fan of sampling)

Maybe on a song like Grimes' "Christmas songs" but most likely not album. Grimes only has featured producers so far (on albums), no featured vocals.

Cant go wrong with an Audio Technica LP-60 or LP-120, i think they are $150 and $250 respectively. lil pricey but they are reliable (also take into account you'll have to get speakers)

what kind of record player do you have? If its a Crosley thats probably why. I thought my UV box set vinyl was bad bc it skipped a ton, but it turned out to be my Crosley, got a new player and the record plays flawlessly. *if you do have a crosley, the reason for the skipping is probably because it has built in speakers and when loud parts of the song starts playing it will skip due to the speaker vibrating (just a personal observation)

Since it got sent to radio's i feel like it increases the chance of it dropping on Apple music today tbh.
