On a positive note, I really love seeing her so happy with her friends. I've always hated hearing people call her depressing and mopey, so I can't complain when she's out there enjoying her life. I know it's helping her make great music.

I think minimalism as a concept is divisive overall. I think b&w fits the theme of there just being two sides two life. As you guys have mentioned, she always been incredibly creative, so I think she'll just channel it into something else this era (or at least I hope so, otherwise I'll agree with y'all)

Someone said the artist of the pic posted it, but can anyone find them? I like the concept of it but somehow the pic she chose suits the song better lol I wonder if that aesthetic was also used for another version of the album's cover art

Visuals are nice and help out a story, but no one is going to be sitting around watching the film over and over for the music. We'll watch it once (maybe more for actual stans) but otherwise we care about the music. Also, I don't think whatever she's got to say with this film is going to be that impressive enough to warrant this amount of wait. I'd say Beyonce is the only current artist who's done the visual album thing well, but that's largely because she worked on them in secret. Still, though, we don't need a full album experience. Maybe she and Melanie do because they grew up in a different era of music, but the music industry has moved on. Either do the film production in secret and release it all as you please, or just be quiet about it. Bey's self-titled era had the momentum of surprise and Lemonade was the first time Jay Z's infidelity was acknowledged, but even so the music was at the forefront of the praise. I cannot think of another instance or artist who's film/visual album has been necessary or more popular than the music. Melanie could have been releasing buzz singles of things she's been writing since she finished the album. Sad that the only song we've gotten had to be pushed out of her by rape accusations. (Sorry for a rant, specially since I'm not even a Melanie stan but I just find that she's handling this all wrong. Stay tuned for my rant for NFR)

I've worked for all my tickets, so no it wasn't that. Although prices are high, it's just currently the way things are if you look at touring prices. I've always felt the benefits VIP provided + extra goodies were worth it. Nashville's sale was horrendous because the Ryman doesn't have a GA pit, so Ticketmaster literally kept redirecting me to seats further and further back from the front Lucky that I got a VIP ticket though and it's not in an awful place. Good luck to everyone getting theirs later on.

Most, if not all, VIP packages come with early access to merch. It's mainly because if you're GA, it's either you go and get merch before the show to guarantee you'll get your size/anything that won't be online or you get to your spot. Otherwise you run the risk of not getting what you wan't post-show. The high price isn't really for that though; it's for early access and the merch that's included. I've personally never felt disappointed by a VIP package I've purchased.

She'll announce it all tomorrow (though idk why artists don't do it days in advance so we can get our money ready but anyway). Are all VIP tickets put on sale for the pre-sale, or are some reserved for the other sales too? I thought the US pre-sale was the same as the European one and now I can't deposit money into my bank account in time since my bank's closed all weekend + Monday due to President's Day I'm having a gay breakdown over the thought of missing out on tickets

I agree but if I heard a snippet of Froot I'm sure I'd dislike it too (but now it's my favorite song of hers.) I think we should know by now to not judge songs by tiny snippets lol

Wow she really came through on all departments. She doesn't owe anything to us but it feels like she's making up for the long break. Can't wait to (hopefully) see her in Nashville!

I think the personal stuff she was going through was just too much for her, not that she didn't enjoy touring for us. I remember her talking a lot about she was planning the show and then it went silent and we got a "best" of show instead of much Neon or Nature. I think she feels better now to give touring her all.

Hopefully she feels up for a complete tour this time around because I was super sad that the Neon Nature Tour didn't come to Atlanta or Nashville (and was kind of limited here in the states over all.)
