Does it make sense to release 2 more songs with music videos this week when there's still almost one month to get the album? I think it's been quite absurd even to release the cover, tracklist and trailer in such a big advance -not so big as the one between the first two singles and the album release, of course-. Not complaining that we finally got a decent rollout for the record, but the timing has zero sense...

That's it! I'm sure you'll enjoy it a lot. I'll highlight on the possibility of listening also the instrumental version, as it makes the production bright even more. The album is so reflective, sensorial and erotic, or those are my feelings on it, at least. And I haven't had the chance to listen to the vinyl, so I'm sure your experience will be even better.

Even if Honeymoon is my favourite album by Lana -and one of my favourite albums from any artist-, I think I kind of understand the way you feel about it. I felt the same way -or a similar one- about it when I first listened it by 2015. But, luckily, I gave it another chance last year and fell crazily in love with it. I learned to see it not as a repetitive project, but as some kind of artistic -and musical, specifically- microclima, a very big, ambicious and quite hermetic atmosphere where all of the songs belong to a certain aesthetic (her languid, overexposed and tragically romantic view of the world -taken in the album to it's maximum expression, what makes it quite oppressive sometimes-), but all of the songs still achieve to not be fillers, but a necessary step on the path that the album came to be for me. Even HBTB and Freak ended up fitting in it, when I couldn't stand any of them at first listens. I have learned to listen to the album as I was attending to some kind of interior movie where some of the songs are inflection points (mostly the ones you've chosen as the ones you think should be on the album, and I'd add The Blackest Day, Religion and Salvatore) and the other ones just help the narrative to develop itself. If it may help you, listening to the instrumental allowed me to have a wider perspective on the album itself and to understand it as a deeper, broader opus than I thought it was on first instances.

Ye, of course! Bambi was the only glimpse of something unexpected and original over the whole trailer... Which of all the beach related, California vibed, Lana-fooling-with-her-friends scenes had not been seen along her career already?

Would comment this on NFR thread, but I think I'd get killed. Anyone else found the NFR album trailer boring and absolutely senseless? -except by Bambi walking towards at the last scenes, that was a nice point!-

There was some edit made by an LB user which featured some picture of Lana leaving Hillsong and some homophobic iconography, as well as "Norman Fucking Rockwell" title.. The collage style of the actual cover kind of reminded me that edit -I think the user even made a T-shirt from it and put it on sale on the Internet-. Any of you know where can I find that picture?

I kind of love the cover. Still shocked after hours of seeing it, and not hating it. I'm sure that's a good signal. By the way. Always thought that the version of BAR that we got -the full one, not the ones hovering over youtube- was boring and poorly produced, even bland for a demo. Let's hope it's reworked and actually deserves to be part of the album. Don't want to hear even one filler on NFR. We were served of them with Lust for Life.

Two things: 1. Should we assume the label didn't let her call the album "Norman Fucking Rockwell", so she changed the name to "The Greatest" and it may be also the title track she drops before the album, as usually? 2. Was the comment from Neohumanism about today's "appointment" just a glimpse of luck after a random try, or does that account has an actual connection to Lana or her team?
