this is true! each album has its weak parts. like when she rhymed "loathing" with "loathing" in fear and loathing? personally, i think TFJ has the strongest lyrics and froot has the most poetic/most coherent lyrics. TFJ is a great album to introduce someone to marina to, but i think her storytelling wasnt up to par with EH or froot's

true, she does have better songs than SS, but i think the impact that SS made (remix or not) shouldnt b ignored. yes the remix is a quite an atrocity, and i can stand a minute of it at best before changing to the original, but i think its lana's lyrics that withstand the test of time. the "s-s-s-summertime" and "pale moonlight" are parts that ppl know are from that song, at least in my experience for me, the "pale moonlight" part makes me think of the chicken in the red dress

i found all mirrors (the song) thru here, and i just listened to all mirrors, the album. i really liked it! there are a few songs that might have to/could grow on me, but im really blown away. listening to all mirrors feels like you're in a drama transcendent
