Knowing their posts in other threads it was to be expected

no but fr I wanted one for Teddy Bear
  3. Glitter Boy

    Carly Rae Jepsen

but in this case wouldn't companion and Side B imply the same thing? both Emotion and Dedicated have had side B's, which somehow are an extension of the album, as in companion record... anyways, more Carly is always welcome
  4. I really doubt it because the only version for pre-order on iTunes in my country shows uhoh and Alone as the only explicit songs on it. If BAIT was explicit it would be included as such, and if the version leaked was the clean, uhoh had to be clean as well which is not. Probs they replaced the explicit lyric of the demo with a rewritten line in the final
  5. it's not terrible but it sticks out like a sore thumb in this album. if it was a bonus in Problématique i would have zero problems with it. bad move to include ST and Coconuts. Unholy is unredeemable but as it's deemed a bonus track is just skippable af. the tracklist order is still a mess i cannot recover from though like most of the songs are bops, but the order makes it a weird listen.
  6. The real question is when is the rest of Masochism going to leak

  9. Feed the Beast Alone Revelations Hit It From the Back King of Hearts BAIT (feat. BANKS) Shut Up, Scream, Don't Stop, Leave uhoh brrr Claws Castle in the Sky Minute Thousand Pieces I'm laughing a little at how similar are Revelations, Sex Talk and HIFTB but I'm glad we're getting them in full HQ in days so incredible. However Sex Talk does not fit imo, and neither does Coconuts. Unholy keeps being removed, I replaced it with SUSDSL. ngl, rearranged, the album is much better than what I expected.
  10. I didn't think I'd say it but the highs of Feed the Beast seem pretty much better than Problématique BUT here's the thing. As a whole, I prefer Problématique, but some FTB songs are much more memorable. So aside from Coconuts, Sex Talk and Unholy and the Alone album version, everything else is pretty much a bop imo. Shame for the playlist-like tracklist, but that can be fixed. At least there's bop after bop waiting.
  11. even in lq the songs sound much better than what i thought, i think i have high hopes again i just hate the fact she/the label picked Alone for the Nicki feature as the lead single when literally King of Hearts is right. there. it's serving everything Alone lacked, an ENERGIC hook.

    Charli XCX

Okay so I'm updating my 2018-19 unreleased files and instead of the mid rework I did like 2 years ago, I decided to do a mashup of The Party's Never Over acapella with an incredible Charli type beat I found over YouTube, and the result is quite cool (btw it's nothing like the TPNO x Ice Cakes version so forgive me). It's lowkey giving XCX World so I really liked it I guess <3 The Party's Never Over (Moonchild x Fantom Version)
  13. Rearrangement and addition of another album to acommodate more songs.
  14. SAME! I remember loving FLM on the first few listens of the album but I eventually stopped liking it. Same with a couple others. Volcano was the last song she did under RCA, after that she did War, My Sex, Nuts and a couple others, those were independent but definitely better than Sexorcism. She released several singles under RCA aiming for a hit to propel her scrapped album Daddy Issues, but none really were enough for the label I guess. It was also much more pop-driven so probably she was not really into it as well (although they're my favourite Brooke songs). The songs from those days are: Happy Days Changes (feat. Jack Antonoff) Living Out Loud (feat. Sia) Paper or Plastic Rubber Band Stacks Nasty Volcano With Me (feat. LIZ; leaked) Bullshit (leaked) She said she did like 60 songs with them so I hope we eventually get more songs from those sessions. Yeah, I agree. Not too sure but iirc RCA forced her to go mainstream pop and wanted to rinse her image to be 'more marketable' but probably they should've been more flexible (and so her as well, but we'll never know). Maybe there was a chance for her to pursue a few more radio-friendly songs and keep the 'dirtier' material as album tracks, but probably RCA didn't want to let her have that so idk. It's a shame because I think her pop material is very catchy and with the proper promotion it could've led to the hits they were pursuing with her. Happy Days, Paper or Plastic and Rubber Band Stacks were particularly good enough to be hits imo. Who knows what else is hiding in RCA's vaults.

    Charli XCX

no but for real I need a real Ava x Charli collab, such a shame it didn't happen with Good Ones. this is great, particularly Ava's bits are sooo close. when i first heard it i was fooled thinking it was real ngl

  18. I think of it more as an overfluffed EP because she probably had the urge to make it an album considering she had promised one for years, but only few songs from it are remarkable I guess. Also, there's just SO many guest artists it feels like a collaborative album instead of one of her own, considering only Honey Pussy is a solo song. I think Encore, Freak Like Me and Drip should have been solo as well. And yeah, it's pretty much about one very thing, if it was a little more diverse I would probably appreciate it more. Now, I'd be just fine if the album was still pretty much about sex but with a more diverse sound, because even if it's a very short album (33 minutes for 12 tracks feels insanely short to me), it feels much longer due to its too similar sound on each song. Ngl I only ever get to replay XXXTC, RIP, Cum, Swing and Boss Bitch. I prefer her material from her RCA days though I know she probably hates it Ew I didn't mean to rant lmao, sorry. I'm usually a Brooke defender but Sexorcism cannot be redeemed. Her newest singles are more refreshing, I hope there's this type of energy on her next album, if it ever happens.

  21. wait so if the Problématique recycled reworked tracks are essentially the same, I'm keeping them in their original project, which leaves me with this: Feed the Beast Alone King of Hearts Thousand Pieces Uh Oh Bait (feat. BANKS) brrr Claws Minute Castle in the Sky I'll just stack IJWAR as a bonus or something
  22. The pre-order is finally up! I'm not sure if it's just for the single or for the album (more likely it's for the single, but it's implied the album could be titled SLAY as well) https://vyd.co/BonnieMckeeSlay

    Grimes

I lowkey like Welcome to the Opera, but I have to agree it's very low considering Grimes. Player of Games, Enjoy the Angels on Earth and Shinigami Eyes are much better. I just hope she continues dropping songs from the album regularly, 100% Tragedy next pls.
