Well, this is the mp3: And this is the wav: The differences are very evident - imo wav looks higher quality than mp3. I really doubt it's an upscale to be completely honest (I've seen upscales before and it really looks noticeable when the file is not legit). But if it is an upscale, then sorry for the false alarm I guess?
-
Doesn't seem like an upscale to me Checked them all and they all are like this.
-
@LPMA and anyone who want this: Okay so these are the songs in lossless WAV without anything on streaming: Problématique (Lossless Album) Apparently upscaled.
-
Sure! I don't know if this is allowed here so Imma PM u. If there's no problem I can put a link here as well. YES! I think it is overhated for no reason, I really enjoy it!
-
How come Problématique leaked in lossless and I didn't notice before?! it sounds way better in HQ Truly her XCX World era huh It was upscaled apparently
-
Oh gosh, it's terrible it got pushed back several months. Any reason has been revealed yet? It seems like they could change many tracks with that delay
-
OMG ALLOW?!?!?! WE WON I don't even have a clue on how it sounds like but since she teased it back in 2017 when it was part of Utopia I feel like I need it though I hope it got reworked or something.

IN MY PERSONAL CASE it's not because of Arca's involvement* - she was involved with Vulnicura and it's one of my all-time favourite Björk albums. In my case: 1) I don't like flutes much 2) I don't feel quite the connection with most of the tracks 3) I perceive it, in most cases, more noisy than what I expected from a flute-driven album (aka Sue Me, Arisen My Senses, Loss the most notable examples) 4) the mixture of flutes and heavy electronic beats didn't sit as well as it worked with, say, strings in Vulnicura and 5) not quite a fan of the mixing of the album - it feels like it needed more balancing and polishing BUT once again that's just me, I cannot speak by others when saying why it receives a lot of hate. I would not call it a horrible album by any means, I just don't think it's her strongest by far. Probably, like @PARADIXO pointed out, some fans blame it on Arca's involvement but I don't think that should be a reason to hate on the album tbh. *I'm not a fan of Arca's solo work, literally the only productions of hers I've enjoyed are Vulnicura and Utopia. So it's not bias I guess.

Cool, I'm carrying this thread by myself but I'm really happy with doing so. Apparently we have a title and a possible date!! Right now it's called Paradise, though she refers to it as a 'working title'. I like that idea, wouldn't mind if it ends up being the final title tbh. AND we can find that there is a deadline fixed for September 26, which I guess is when she has to deliver the album to distributors (not to a label as she's independent so cheers). I'm thinking of a late October-mid November release window... I lowkey feel like I've been bullying her into making this album but also she seems very happy with it so I don't mind if I keep asking her about it hope she doesn't mind either

Ranking Björk albums? Hold up Homogenic Vespertine Vulnicura Biophilia Post Debut Volta Utopia Medúlla is the only album I haven't listened in full yet, but if I had to place it judging by what I've heard I'd probably put it below Post. I also haven't listened to Drawing Restraint 9 or Selmasongs. That said, Utopia is at the very bottom but I do really like The Gate, Loss, Utopia, Features Creatures, Arisen My Senses and Future Forever, even Body Memory at an extent. With a little... er... less noisy production or bad mixing, I'd probably love the album without a doubt.
-
I absolutely love the Fossora cover kinda gives me Biophilia vibes so
-
Thank you both so much! <3 CD in my case, but yeah
-
Happy 100 pages! Leak Talking Body demo to celebrate
-
Vulnicura sweetie I'm so sorry tbh Vulnicura and Biophilia are between my favourite Björk albums
-
I don't know where to find it. Looking for it too, if I find something I'll let you know!
-
So, the next single is coming and the artwork is cheap af which is very contradictory with the title, but I lover her with brunette hair so
-
It was not available for a long time a few years ago but it's been back for a while now, at least in my country
-
Didn't even know of a deluxe's existence but some outtakes would've been more appreciated. BUT I'm glad she's promoting her best album properly
-
I don't think I hate the Atopos cover art, I find it particularly less ugly than Utopia's artwork. But I was thinking, isn't that kinda fungal appearance in purpose according to what she described from the album? I know mushroom is not synonym of decaying food wastes, but the idea of that fungus-esque appearance of the clothing, colouring and the overall image kinda makes sense within the description of the album from that interview. I'm really curious about what the album's cover is going to look like.

All of these are CRASH sessions?

I love the cycles we as fans go through in this thread. It's very interesting
-
now watch Masochism end up using the singles + one or two from the original batch while the rest is all rush-recorded three weeks prior to its release in 2026
-
True - but if we manage to get another Black Lake / Family type of trascending I'm in for 10 tracks
