  1. I really think she just managed to fix her life to a comfortable stage where she really doesn't have much to say about herself anymore and decided to go for these political takes because "well the gays DID beg for Savage as a single but I couldn't make it so... let's give them 10x".

It's no surprise that most of the best material from Ancient Dreams came from her very singular perspective of life (and personal topics after break up) instead of trying to show some understanding-we're-human-connected. Sometimes it sounds like she's ashamed of being more "quirky" and "singular" and really just wants the most commom sense takes to lead the way.

Love+Fear is bland but there's enough material (including a lot of the outtakes) to fit a bopfest without cringing. She really should have picked a better concept and cover. Really not sure how There's Nothing Wrong With You and If It's Worth It didn't make the cut but True did. By the way: someone pls l*ak Beautiful World.

I'm forever grateful for Electra Heart and I'm sure she put on a fight to make it happen. She already mentioned how the label despised the idea of "Bubblegum Bitch" as a single, and no surprise Sex Yeah, Valley Of The Dolls and others probably all fall in the same category of "not commercially viable". Lies, How To Be a Heartbreaker (ugh), Power & Control and Primadonna were great single choices (even if they didn't bother to actually send them to radio).

I'm actually excited for December 28th now. There's so much mess potential to unleash. I also think it's quite cute to make a meet up out of nowhere lol.

Playing hypothetical game, Descending around March followed by All My Lovers Die + Album Pre-Order in May. Release in late Summer\Early Fall. THAT'S a rollout.  NO MORE FUCKING AROUND LET'S GOOOO!

  3. Catching up

    - Need the Livestream of Sky showing up infront of Capitol with sign and no one else

    - I lost it with the girl having the same... ~aesthetic on the last page

  4. I agree with half posts.

I do wish she would open up. Just throw shit on the fan and make it clear, say the names and the whole story. That's the only way anyone can actually support her and buy the story and make the media aware. Being vague "Some people aren't helping" "I'm waiting for some answers" and this kind of shit doesn't... make sense. Even Halsey staging that TikTok drama (that pretty much triggered her the fuck up, since she first announced the Don't Forget music video for the same day as "So Good" was being released) should have been enough for her to just blow things out of water instead of the "wtf but I am the original tortured little girl???"

If Capitol isn't willing to let her do her work, if they're not letting her express herself, then let it be clear as day. She's not releasing music anyway, at least make hell on earth for them. For someone with one album, 10 years ago, there's still a fanbase and media support.

Sometimes I also do think she wants a Fiona Apple\Extraordinary Machine moment.

  5. Haters Anonymous is fucking good idc.

The way the lyrics are like... that. But then the chorus comes and That sparkling explosion ughhh YEEESSSSSSS

    Subject? Skank is everywhere!

  6. Girl really isn't a live-act and really should be selling these "Night Time My Time 9th Anniversary Green Socks (limited edition)". This Summer Festival campaign was the worst decision, but wouldn't be too shocked since they (she) probably needs some extra $$ to really finish ""the album"" (which was hinted to be "close to done" on these intervews) and extra stuff like Music Video(s) (which she also hinted as something she really thrives\wanted to make and then budget wasn't coming along).

Would be nice to have another single out before the end of the year but don't think that's happening. At least there's still time for the occasional "WINTER (knife knife)" post.

Streaming this masterpiece in the meanwhile

enough with placing the blame solely on Capitol and calling it "personal"....  have y'all gone mad? imagine an entire label having a personal vendetta against one artist. she is NOT that girl! :toofunny: tragic and simply weird as fuck for you or anyone else to keep spouting this shit.

Sky Ferreira TOLD a publication that SHE was editing the Don't Forget video HERSELF. she has provided no clear reason as to why the video has not been released. go ask her why the video isn't out and let's see if you get a response! :xgiggle:

    Ya mad, rancid girl?

I have absolutely NO CLUE of why some of you get TRIGGERED when discussing someone with 1 (one) album and that has been just one giant example of label fuckery and mismanagement. An easy-and-quick Google can show you how some mammoths from the Music Industry were trapped in label hell for YEARS, including Sky Ferreira's own Fairy Godmother Michael Jackson; Then we have much more recent cases like JoJo, Kesha, Tinashe, Charli XCX and many other girls who signed contracts when they were underage and were put through HELL for no other reason than... you know, "because we can. You should have read the lines!"

It's pretty clear that any initial plan to sell Sky as a major pop artist backfired and, by that point (and I'm talking about 2011. 11 Years Ago) they already invested some great Million$$ on her. They literally had a full album ready for release, 3 music videos, she wasn't working with your next door Soundcloud producer but Dallas Austin and Bloodshy & Avant. It wasn't some sort of "She's cute, we're gonna give this bedroompop girl a chance!", No, it's a fact that SKY FERREIRA was a project that Capitol failed to manage and sell. Once the singles didn't stick, the debut album was shelved, she was put on the refrigerator and no one knew what to do anymore. I guess if you're soooooo entitled about label politics, you know that Major Labels are almost like Loans and artists are obligated to refund every penny invested on the process + have to make sure there's PROFIT. Sky Ferreira wasn't profitable, and then she started to take control and make sure that her music was aligned to her own taste, which meant a left turn over the sound instead of bright-shiny-electropop.

We heard from the horse's mouth that she had to foot the bill over Night Time My Time, and the lack of investment from Label resulted in no singles being promoted apart from You're Not the One and I Blame Myself (which, shocking, weren't pushed over Radio). The album was released without physical copies ready on the release date, and most of the material was released in batches mostly done over demand (so, yes, you can't buy a "Night Time My Time" Vinyl without giving your mortgage away because they were limited pressing in 2014 and then nothing else). She also said that the album being critically acclaimed and adored wasn't something that impressed them, or made them bown down and say "Ok, you were right", but more likely made them resentful that 21yo. Girl managed to put an album out without their hands. If that's not lowkey personal....

And of course, as my original post stated, there's no way she is a saint and shouldn't be blamed. Her "endless perfectionism" is still aggravating the process. But after all this time, she's been the one who actually put stuff on her soundcloud and performed unreleased content. She can be the one editing the music video just because they actually said "You know what? We are not paying anyone anymore to edit this just because you don't like it, lol" and that still doesn't mean she'll be able to release it without propper approval. She also said the music video has been done for 3 (over 4 now) months, so maybe you should send Capitol a DM on twitter asking where is it, since you're besties.

I swear it's fucking psychotic how some of you really want to undermine what it is like to be under a corporation and try to bash artists, mostly women, without giving it a second thought.

    ---

In other news, Happy Birthday Night Time My Time!! Few artists have such a bulletproof Debut album. Maybe because it was like the third album or so in the making, but you get it.

  8. It's so awkard to see the whole promo blitz they arranged. All these magazines and interviews (saying the same thing over and over again; music video being finished, album coming this year) were probably done all at same time, with some type of schedule for Summer promo and album probably coming in late fall\early winter. And then nothing happened... again.

I can just imagine the chaos that runs across Capitol whenever "Sky Ferreira" is mentioned. At this point it's pretty clear that it is something personal between them and she's trapped. And of course she probably has her own blame around it, but no way the label is a saint. I can only imagine it takes so long to get things moving that she gets cold feet and keeps re-starting her process and trying other stuff without finishing and releasing the old ones. No way "Masochism" is the same album she envisioned back in 2014, and I'm just surprised we didn't go through 3 name changes already.

  9. omg the Scrobbles leak... the nostalgia rush I got from this. Great job.

I believe the album will be right around the corner but can see it being released only in like... around summer. Or late Spring. She'll probably drop a single for the Tove tour and they'll be working the logistics to make sure she can bag some sales on the first week.

  10. just fucking realized this is one of the soundcloud snippets

The way she's serving even with the most basic bops like... it's insane.

Is there a list of everything we have from Cry Baby and Masochism sessions?

    Hi everyone,

Lana has a lot of songs which people consider unreleased such as "Lana Del Ray A.K.A. Lizzy Grant" that are not truly unreleased, they were released before she released "Born to Die" and we're pulled. As many of you know, a lot of the songs were released on SoundCloud and YouTube with music videos. If there is a list on the website I apologize for asking for it, but is there a list containing all of Lana's pulled songs, I would also like to include "Demos" such as the originally released version of "Lolita", I have heard there's a original version of "Video Games", not sure if that's true though.

    Thank you!

I think "original version of Video Games" might be about the music video, since she had 2 (?) versions that had to be removed because of copyrighted footage.

You have an interesting question but It's also a tricky one. It's hard to keep track of everything she self-released because of the many names she used and there's stuff we're just not sure; like, back in her myspace, there was a song called "W" that people assumed to be Wayamaya.

On that same MySpace, there was "For Charlie" (unleaked), "Miss America" (Trash Magic), "Jump" and "Kill Kill" back in 2008.

  12. ok nevermind I got it messed up.

Always thought the "Put my lips on you" snippet was the title track, but actually messsed it up with "Hold my tongue until I choke" (?) or whatever. Don't think they're the same song.

It's pretty annoying the whole start-stop nature of the campaign. But I AM looking forward what she's saying next, because right now everything hinted to "the album is actually done" so when she comes with another quick single in 2024 with "The album is halfway done! WINTER (knife emoji)"...

I'm bored so I'll drop some hot takes:

    1. Aura, Venus and G.UY. together outsell 50 percent of BTW

    2. SFA is one of her worst songs ever

    3. Gaga became a very safe artist and y'all gotta accept it

    4. Replay > Monster

    5. Teeth > Speechless, Telephone and So Happy I Could Die

    6. BJ+AF one of the best tracks in BTW

    7. Chromatica is nowhere near to be one of her best albums

    8. Gypsy is awfully overrated. MANiCURE >>>>

    9. Angel Down is Juana's best song

    10. Aura is lyrically more unique and authentic than A LOT OF her discography

I'm obsessed with some of these.

    Some of my hot takes:

-> Lina Morgana never stood a chance and Rob Fusari songs fucking suck, God knows how she managed to snatch Paparazzi and Beautiful Dirty Rich from his garage band hands

-> Chromatica Ball is really battling to be her best tour even with the most awkward setlist on papper, yet managed to make it work and a full consive show without her usual meandering shenanigans. The videos and outfits are telling the whole thing without her needing to explain what is happening.

  14. I have a feeling Net Curtains was confirmed to be fake but it was housed along with China Dolls... which turned out to be a real-real song that, at last, people thought that would be lost from her Myspace days if it was really real.

  15. Finally managed to listen to all these Yes To Heaven versions and that "Version 4 (Honeymoon Version) (3:31)" is actually good? These drums are definely a step-up from that anaemic production from some of the other versions. Lanapedia lists that it has been an outtake from every record since Ultraviolence, being reworked a lot. I wonder how she feels about it.

    Version 4 -> 2 -> 1 -> 3 (which is hinted to be an outtake from Chemtrails??)

  16. She really said "I'm gonna make the most of that line & melody and that will be my break-through moment" when she paired the words "Kiss Me" and "Chevrolet". Good for her.

Both snippets “leaked” by Nautiluss himself :toofunny: I would love these songs to see the light but I doubt it

A reason why Phantom snippet isn’t very HQ is because it’s not the song just trimmed, Naut recorded his monitor while the song was playing. Garden sounds HQ and studio to me

    Then THAT'S fucking wild!

Didn't Nautiluss create an account here and then like replied 2 answers once? nn.

    Can we PLEASE GET PHANTOm

Down in the Fog (co-written by Ariel Pink) - https://dbree.org/v/15261d

Sorry to burst your bubble but that's been rumoured for years, it's probably not true :( but I'm very happy with the demo which leaked in 2020, it's one of my fav Allie songs tbh. All three leaked versions are self-produced on her laptop so I can see why that rough sound wouldn't appeal to a lot of people.

think it could be true, but yeah, we can't be sure until it's out. I love the sound of Homebound (especially the Live version, with extended intro with the synth-pads. Amazing), just hate that sadly the vocals are totally wrecked. 2 demos are drowned in reverb and 1 of them is a very awkward take. It's still pretty amazing and kudos for the self-production tbh.

After this and while reminiscing about her, there seems to be snippets from Phantom and Garden leaked in 2020? They're very LQ and don't sound very STUDIO for me, but at same time, it's not the same vocals from Hillside. THESE would be iconic leaks as well, since it was almost confirmed that no one had these Nautiluss songs.

  19. So I've just heard\learned\read there's a Collxtion I version of Homebound? We need THAT to leak since all the 3 demos we have are just fucked up.

I just wanna know what's stopping them. The album is done, the artwork is ready, the fans are hyped and there's no need for promo either because it's not doing huge numbers anyway.

    :deadbanana:

Label burocracy. Could be like sample clearing issues.
