  1. Omg when Honeymoon leaked through cassette tapes or store sound system is 28kbs... Chemtrails is really her little sister ~<3.

I think the leak thing is kinda odd. We can't manifest things and, by the end, if it really leaks, it's usually a fuck up from Label (and deep down it's... just too close to even make Lana mad about it. It's her Seventh major record and like... I remember 5 of them leaking earlier. Not that it's a good thing, but it's just commom. It's not nice to "manifest it" tho, but I think this is more of a meme than anything.) If the album doesn't score a "number #1" or something, it's not because it leaked, but a roll out that could have been so much better and it's not like Lana really had to make things to make it happen.

I mean... she "performed" on television. 3 months ago but she did. Little Salvatores won.

  2. I wonder if something happened or if she just... couldn't bother nn.

I mean, she said she wanted to release Man's World back at Coachella, and originally mentioned that her small tour\coachella was actually premiering new music (I think it was plural "Songs") but I can't remember if she actually teased a full record? She said next project, female producers and all but... I wonder if she just wanted to do some singles instead of putting a full album out.

Her rollouts are always out of this world so I'm not totally shocked, but the long gap does feel strange, especially since it looked like things were gearing up at high speed. The postcards, the merch, everything was trying to create momentum and then... nothing. We'll see I guess.

I don’t think we can expect her to release “Gimme More” or “Sunshine.”

    ”Gimme More” for obvious reasons.

”Sunshine” because she already said it was recorded for the Electronicon tape specifically.

I don't think that's lowkey "true" at all (that it was specifically recorded for the tape) but she might have given "rights" or something. But I'm just 90% sure it was part of an "early concept" for the album since it was played at the Mini Tour and she mentioned originally how the Debut\S2 would bring "the rockstar" out. Ugh it's such a good song. They did all and more that they had to do with that Outro.

I think there might be a "digital deluxe" with something like one or few weeks after official release, just like it was supposed to happen with the mixtape. I really thought they would push the date forward but her numbers are doing fine? Happy she's still growing number-wise.

Was about to say "another song this month and then next" was a nice strategy and then realized it would need also another song for NEXT NEXT month... lol. But yeah, hopefully they'll work it out. Maybe no song in March but another in April.

  4. 2 pages and saw she mentioned that The Altar movie and yet no release nnn so sad. The Altar deserved better. New music is exciting too. I think III didn't really grab me but I still think she's killing it.

  5. Tbh I like how both Troubled Paradise \ Clouds are the same lane from "Mine" even if a little more glossy\polished yeah a little generic. It seems like Clouds did way more than Troubled Paradise so her numbers are growing and this is a good sign. I didn't listen to the leak but I heart that it does sound a little different\more finished so it's cool that we have little details to look forward too.

When she dropped Throathzillaaa (and even Self Destruct for some instance) I felt a little... "cosplaying" or "what would slayyyter do?". Like, they're fun, but inessential when we already have Daddy AF & All I Want For Xmas and so on. And leading with both songs was like... Maybe this is going to be just a mixtape part.2 and she really wasted the opportunity of having THAT body of work as her debut. The doghouse demo\leak wasn't much interesting neither.

But, now, with Clouds & Troubled Paradise, they can be basic bops but she's what? serving. High budget videos, choreo, LEWKS, and it's actually helping her profile so... I'm happy for her. She does have talent and as long as she grows, more opportunities will show up to show her talent.

  6. Honeymoon was also actually great because after months of like "Yeah my next record is done! Yeah yeah it's coming!!#MusicToWatchBoysTop2015 #2015ismine #kindajazzy" She really dropped the lead, the album announcement and everything to cute 2-months-window while being present most of it. Songs coming out at right time, live performances, music videos...

and then THE GAYS didn't buy enough vinyl at UO and she got blocked at #2. just like Born To Die.

Then with her messy rollouts like Lust For Life she managed to snatch that #1. I think it means something, yeah, it's conspiracy that I'm actually interested.

UV/HM still had the worst meltdowns of all, though.

That's because we were new to it nn.

Honestly it's... odd. Born To Die was such an... amazing era? The incredible music videos, touring, signings, she kept it going. Paradise was good too even if the album basically leaked through snippets for months before the actual release. (Also, Ride & Tropico).

It was after "I'm not putting another album out!" that things turned messy.

  8. (Also I can't keep up with the pages but I think it could have started with the website fnd, and it shows the song coming out in like 10 hours. They were the ones who "leaked" that Sour Candy was being released literally 1 day before Chromatica and I remember it being messy but not sure why. I think people were expecting new zeland time and it wasn't based on that but like LA Time since the song litereally came out when we already had the album leaking in full due it being sold in some stores I think. Can't remember details but yeah, it was right, with messy timing)

The fact that Eclipse didn’t get a YouTube notif makes it less and less plausible. These things need to be programmed / scheduled before release.

Wait Eclipse gets the tea from YouTube? That's a complete scream.

I don't know tbh, the way her team is a mess they can premiere stuff and then just wait whole day before uploading it to platforms and it wouldn't surprise me. Summer Bummer wrong mix tease etc etc etc.

I wasn't even aware that it was expected for tomorrow actually nn. If not coming, well, less than a month for the full album anyway.

  10. ...Girl probably waking up tomorrow "Tune to Anne Whatever AppleRadioShow to hear the hottest record of the day\week\month #WhiteDress and interview x" and then announcing music video will be out in 2 hours or so.

I think almost all her releases since Honeymoon (apart from lead\first singles) were basically radio premieres and announced like, few days at best and few hours before at worst.

    I just:

    • Allie Hughes - The Hard Way (Sessions) – Catch concept demo, I Will Love You More demo, etc.

The Hard Way was going to be THAT BITCH hun??

  12. They could be releasing another single and the album the same day. A video is the only way they can hype it for now and then keep the rollout going til the physicals.

  13. She really said "Y'ALL GONNA LEAK EVERYTHING?? THEN PAY FOR IT" and put the fucking unheard demo on the vinyl. I am screaming.

I am fearing Sculpture right now lmao.

edit: I'm actually confused as hell of why she decided to put a finished "GLAM" there (even thought it was also tagged as a Demo?), and then picking up early demo for the other songs. And how "Too Much To Dream" was thrown at Collxtion I when it was part of the Unsolved mess.

  14. It's kinda sad. I think the best would be to pick the digital\stream release for now and just keep the roll-out going til June. I don't think they'd be doing a lot after the album was out already so. It would be the best so she wouldn't lose streams from everyone seeking for the leak\streaming the leak.

  15. The new remix is very cool. Pabllo's voice sounds like some old house song sample so it kinda fits all along. The spanish bits... I feel they're sampled of something important (??).

The phrase "Mother Nature's dying and nobody's keeping score" just doesn't fit in any incarnation. It was clunky on the original and it's not getting any better with the remixes... at all. But alright.

I wonder if the album will have some uptempo songs in the vein of this synthpop, would be great.

is it weird i expected her numbers to be higher with troubled paradise? i mean her distribution is with universal so i just kind of expected more of a push..? it seems her direct twitter fan base are the only ones consuming her music to me.

And it actually is only her twitter fan base. I think she's under some type of small print under Universal, but nothing huge. They probably do have some sort of deal and it seems like she actually got airplayed today on radio so that's good. Let's see whatelse they'll bring.

Yeah I believe it's only that long snippet. The bridge and the weird vocal transition is unbelievably fake.

It doesn't sound like a RedOne demo at all though, it's missing a lot of his production characteristics.

I'm almost positive it's produced by Garibay. Fashion of His Love was one of the first songs they recorded for Born This Way and it reuses some of the same lyrics. I don't think Space Cowboy is even credited in publishing, which would debunk the involvement of him or RedOne

I think there's a song registered as "Earthquake" that actually does credit Space Cowboy, I tried to check BMI but it crashed lol. The "overproduced" beat could be something from Garibay now that you mentioned it as well, it's interesting to think about it.

edit: I lurked around and it's someone pretty reliable from Popjustice that mentioned like "Then You'd Love Me" and "Earthquake" being different songs. Earthquake still unleaked and "awful demo" from 2008. Then You'd Love Me being produced possibly by RedOne.

    -

Idk how to set up a trinity but I do love Earthquake (and the title "Then You'd Love Me"), Out Of Control and I had a moment with "Panty Party" when it leaked a few years ago. I think they're my favorites.

I have like 5 versions in different lengths.. https://dbree.org/v/c467fe

Does anyone know the true length of the original leak? To my knowledge only a long snippet leaked?

No, the song is actually unfinished\a Long snippet only. But I have no fucking clue of what's the original since it's been remixed\edited to death by fans. I do believe it was the version that just slow-down and cuts off like a radio on low battery.

There's also a rumor that the song isn't actually "Earthquake", the song that's been registered (produced by Space Cowboy), but it's another RedOne demo. Who knows.
