I mean her manager could have sat with her and go "girl... this is not it" or anybody with ears at all but let's leave this for another day. It's fishy but at the same time we really don't know what went behind the curtain and how long it actually been since they stopped working together. L+F was mismanaged anyway from the poor album release (I mean it was just straight up stupid the LOVE then FEAR release. IT'S ONE FUCKING RECORD NOT A DOUBLE RECORD DOESN'T MATTER HOW YOU PICTURED IT MARINA), it killed momentum, the singles weren't the best options, the videos............ I also believe it was her first era where she didn't really headline many festivals which were always like... her main promotional tool? Apart from Coachella (again ) I don't remember anything big happening? For sure artists do have visions and they need to be respected, but sometimes they really need someone behind them to go and say like "Yeah, this ain't happening" (just like.............releasing "Electra Heart" as a "one off").

The weeknd dropped a lot of music videos and his performances in general\everything was connected by a storyline and etc etc etc. The main problem wasn't only "creative differences" but the way things happened and she was kinda left with hands empty with nothing to do but try to explain to million of fans once again that she really did open her mouth to promise something and wouldn't be able to finish (rip). I mean yeah she could really try it, but it would right back connect to the ARTPOP story and leave people already ~skeptical. It's the same thing if she decided to go and make the whole "ACT II" thing... it's just bringing stuff from the past that, right now, is better "buried".

I don't think she'd venture into something like that again after the failure that ARTPOP (app) was. It was one of the "core" things that really fucked the whole era Up. I've heard this new era was supposed to follow with a lot of virtual\visual content like The weeknd tho. LittleMonsters.com chat circa late 2012. Also worth to mention that Jay-Z also had an album plugged in an App before ARTPOP after Biophilia.

It's fake for sure Well sis that's a also a *reach* since she clearly pointed out the Bjork influence and mentioned it was going to be different and then the "discontinued app" happened because Troy Carter fucked her over. It was nothing to do with Bjork.

Alone is like ROTY material like I'd say some of the snippets from the new record sound good but most of the stuff isn't grabbing me at all. The way "doghouse" was supposed to be a bonus track for the mixtape and now it's on the way to be a lead single leaves a bittersweet taste in my mouth (+ scrapping sunshine which is just full mindblowing). She's still a pop sensation and tbh I'd love to see her working with writings songs for\with bigger artists.

Cry Baby was shaping to be awesome as well, but being so young and some of the electropop material I feel that she could end up... a little stuck. Of course B&A + Sky were an amazing group, but the way she did a full 180......... I think if that album ever came out she wouldn't be able to twist it so much too. Idk it's so awkward nnn. At this point we also realize girl have like 5 albuns in the vault somehow nnn. I mentioned Wild At Heart because at that point it looks like she had a bit more of edge on the songs and nice influences. Wasn't 24 hours done for this first album? (and also the legendary Swamp Girl). When you take a look at other songs (Cecil Diamonds snippets, probably some of the GHOST stuff like Red Lips & Lost In my Bedroom?) you see the had a really modern approach and updated sound. Very... lush. Don't know nnn. Honestly someone just leak it all

This is interesting, but I also believe she kept fucking up with NTMT til someone really said "listen I'm not doing it anymore". I'm pretty sure I remember reading something baout her trying to re-arrange one of the songs for like the third time just a few days before the deadline and they just said no. I feel very curious about "Wild at Heart". The songs mentioned were all really...top notch. Def. feels like a uptempo record. Wasn't "I Will" also almost an EP that was supposed to come out before the official album but they dropped the idea and went for the full album instead? I also remember a post that went like "they gave me the opportunity to have an EP out and then album with worldwide release later on"

The worst song on TFJ (guilty?) is still like, an 7, and I'd say L+F peak is a 7 so... that's it for today. I have no clue of someone that made an album that was just so hated as much as L+F. Like it's worst than ARTPOP since nowdays people at least pretendto like ARTPOP

It's something she started but really realized it wasn't worth it tbh. I believe there's a bunch of songs that could actually leak tho. We know that stuff like Brooklyn Nights was probably being saved for it. + stuff like Princess Die which was teased to be on the ARTPOP app. I think there were some demos. Probably nothing "finished" at all but.... For sure if it leaked, there wouldn't exist an "ACT II" since she probably never worked the songs as a body of work, but yeah I believe there are many demos floating around

Guys it's more of a "Lanaboards" question but I know there's a thread here that organized some songs in a time-line of how old they were. I also believe some people managed to open meta-files from these songs to find informations, like iTunes-Codec and so on. Can someone light up my way and help me with how to do this?

You just can't drag Not So Bad in LA as one of the worsts when you have... Paper Love, Casanova, Sunflower and all these... sitting right there. I also believe Video >> Song. The song is kinda barebones but Video really elevates the whole thing. But I think we can all agree that Cape God has been her best era visually. Especially for music videos since we got... 2 great ones.
